A lovingly restored 1909 mansion on a 0.4 acre private lot, your home away from home has the perfect mix of exquisite period features and modern amenities. With 5BR (2 king, 1queen, 2 full) 4 full BA and plenty of ample living spaces it accommodates up to 10 guests: ideal venue for family events and work retreats. In a quiet, tree lined residential neighborhood of historic houses, walk to Main Street (bars, restaurants, shops, farmers market, homecoming parade), close to both UI and WSU. On the ground floor, you will find: - the fully updated kitchen (granite countertops, induction cooktop, double convection oven, stainless steel appliances) - the large living room with gas fireplace, ample seating space and 55" TV - the formal dining room - a bedroom (bedroom #3) with queen bed - full bathroom with steam shower On the second floor: - the master bedroom (bedroom #1) with king bed, en-suite bathroom with jetted tub and walk-in shower - a second bedroom (bedroom #3) with king bed - a parlor - a bathroom with claw footed tub - the laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer. On the third floor: - office space with laser printer - two gable bedrooms (bedrooms #4 and #5) - a full bathroom with shower. The wrap-around porch and back patio provide you with plenty of space to relax outdoors. The entrance doors are equipped with keypads. You will receive the lock code before your stay. Guests will have exclusive use of the house, patio and large 0.4 acre yard. Up to two cars can park in the driveway, and plenty of free street parking is available. We offer self check-in and check-out. We are generally just a phone call away if you need anything. Fort Russel is a quiet downtown Moscow residential neighborhood, listed in the Historical Register of Historic Places, with tree lined streets and some of the finest period houses of the Palouse. We are two blocks away from East City Park, and within walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops on Main Street. Ideal location to visit or attend events at the University of Idaho and Washington State University. There is room for two cars in the driveway, and plenty of free street parking. The back yard is fenced, for guests bringing pets. We offer self check-in and check-out, to maximize the privacy and convenience of our guests. -The stairs to the third floor are very steep, so bedrooms #4 and #5 are not a good option for small children and for anyone with mobility issues; contact us at any point if you have concerns about it, and we'll help you understand if our house is a good fit for your group. -Please note that, due to the weather in Moscow, the outdoor furniture is available only from the beginning of May to the beginning of October. -Being a historical house, it does not have central A/C: we install high efficiency, low noise portable and window units from mid-June to mid-September.
