Villa Sonnglück offers 3 sun-drenched guest double rooms in the green, which can be combined into one apartment. Private shower bathrooms, barrier-free with elevator. Bright cozy allergy-friendly baubio double room. Veranda seating next to the natural swimming pond in the permaculture garden. Beautiful views, quiet location, 1 min to forest hiking trails. Bookable with breakfast 14 or breakfast & dinner 48, vegan fresh whole food cuisine, gluten, fructose & lactose or & sugar-free diets. Self-catering kitchen can be rented for CHF 15. The space Floor-level French doors over the corner flood the room with lots of light all day and offer a beautiful view of the green valley. The room is bright and friendly and has a 140 cm wide cozy bed. You have your own shower room. On the floor there is a new, modern, well-equipped guest kitchen that can be rented for CHF 10CHF/day for self-catering. The beautiful sun terrace next to the natural swimming pond with a magnificent view of the expanse of the expiring Jura mountain range is at your disposal for sunbathing on our sun loungers or eating outside. Gilgenberg Castle is located in the south, facing, below the Portiflue rock, nestled in green valleys. Enjoy our naturally clarified alkaline water in our natural swimming pond. Or treat yourself to a massage on our Wellcon massage chair for 5 CHF. The accommodation is located on a sunny vineyard with a beautiful view. Our solar system supplies the electricity for our heat pump, which heats the house in winter and offers wonderful cooling in summer. Guest access The guest apartment on the ground floor has a beautiful fully furnished guest kitchen that you can rent for 15CHF per day. Long-term guests pay 90.00 per month. For kitchen use, you pay a cleaning deposit of 60which you get back at check-out if everything is handed over thoroughly cleaned. The guest kitchen has everything you could need for cooking, spices, oils, tea, coffee, a dishwasher, oven with steamer, large hob, clean stainless steel pots and pans. Each guest has a refrigerator & freezer compartment and drawers for their kitchen items and purchases. There is a filter coffee machine & a large assortment of tea, so you can always provide yourself with warm drinks. Washing and, if necessary, drying costs 5.00 per wash In front of the rooms there are dining tables and comfortable chairs, cozy sun loungers and parasols at the swimming pond in a wonderful panoramic location. Our beautiful naturally clarified 13 x 7 swimming pond is available for swimming, after a thorough shower so that no sun protection or conditioner gets into the natural water, for all guests. There is also an elastic leash for athletic swimming or just for chilling in the wonderfully alkaline water and in winter you can also enjoy cold and ice bathing with us. Our guests have free, barrier-free parking in front of the house. You can also rent a covered parking space for 10.- CHF/day. Electric cars can be charged for 0.70 CHF/kWh. During your stay I am always easily accessible to my guests. I would be happy to give you tips for things to do in Basel and the surrounding area. In the INFO BOX in the entrance area you will find maps and tourist information brochures and an old hotel shoe polishing machine. Villa Sonnglück is inhabited all year round by me, the host Svanette. I also like to cook vegan delicacies for my guests and entertain them in my conservatory with a view. Half board, special diets, accompaniment & possible support in everyday life can be booked by appointment. With my well-equipped naturopathic medicine cabinet, I am happy to help you with discomfort, sleep disorders, minor infections or headaches and toothaches. I am also happy to cook you helpful herbal teas, there is a homeopathic basic assortment of hot water bottles, infrared light or a Wellcom massage chair (5.-CHF) in the house. The nearest emergency is about 10-15 km away in Laufen Liestal, Dornach or the anthroposophical clinic Arlesheim. Other things to note You can always use our good Jura water. Make tea & coffee at the coffee machines (ecologically sensible coffee balls, compostable without plastic or aluminum 9 balls 10 CHF). In the refrigerators there are some drinks, wine and snacks for self-service, which you enter on a consumption list and pay on the last day. A rich V breakfast is available for 14 CHF I also like to cook delicious organic V menus for my guests. Lunch and dinner for CHF 19 to 28 Half board, i.e. breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as coffee, tea and our wonderful Jura water can be booked for CHF 48.
