One of only four Finalists in Airbnb BEST RURAL STAY . Relax at this Magical, secluded Cottage located in the Beautiful South Downs National Park within a private estate. Set in its own private Victorian Walled garden, luxury accommodation in a peaceful setting. 5 Mins drive from Glyndebourne The Cottage has excellent facilities including, Outdoor Hot tub, Fire pit, BBQ & tennis court. Inside is a fully equipped kitchen, Log burners and sumptuous spaces to relax in . Fully enclosed gardens. The space Garden Cottage offers luxury accommodation, in a country setting . Quirky and decorated with original art and antiques but with all of life’s mod cons. The cottage has 6 bedrooms, 4 of which have en-suite bathrooms. 2 bedrooms are located on the ground floor and both have en-suite bathrooms, idea for those guests who cannot manage stairs. 2 Bedrooms have superking beds ( one of which can spilt into 2 single beds if required but please ensure you ask for this at least 2 weeks in advance ) . 2 Bedrooms have king size beds, and one bedroom has a double bed. This year we have also added further accommodation, in Little Hen Lodge, this private self contained lodge sleeps 2 in a King size bed, with lounge area and full ensuite bathroom. It is situated just across the garden from the dining room . We do like to welcome dog family members, and we do not charge for them, but please do just let me know when you book, I am sorry but we do not accept cats . All gardens are fully enclosed so no need to worry about doggies escaping. The large outside Victorian walled garden is totally enclosed and solely for the use of guests in the cottage, as is the separate side garden with large hot tub and fire pit, where Little Hen Lodge is located. The walled garden also has an open gazebo with outside dining for 12 people and a full size bespoke bbq, all charcoal and fire lighters are supplied . The tennis court is just outside the walled garden and we provide all tennis racquets and balls in the lounge games cupboard for your use . There are also plenty of games, scrabble, monopoly etc in the games cupboard. The kitchen is fully fitted with everything you might need, we also supply all cleaning products including washing up liquid, washing powder, dishwashing tablets etc . We also leave a plentiful supply of loo rolls, so no need to bring any of this with you . We leave plenty of logs in the cottage for the 2 log burners and there is another full shed of logs in the fire pit garden if needed. We live on the other side of the estate, so we are always around if needed. Guest access All areas in Garden Cottage are solely for use of guests. Other things to note Garden Cottage is one of 2 holiday properties located in this area of the estate. The other one is Stag Lodge which is adjacent and across from the cottage in its own private wooded garden . Stag Lodge is also listed on air bnb. Both properties are private and are separated by a 6 foot high fence . Garden Cottage is not suitable for parties , or hens or stags. Our quiet hours are from 9pm - 9am . We generally cannot accept children under 5 as we have no facilities for them , but please contact me to discuss your needs and we can consider on a case by case basis . We can also split a superking bed in the ground floor bedroom into 2 singles if required. Please do let me know at least 2 weeks before hand if you would prefer this option
