“Farmcharm” country views/coziness at its best

READ IN FULL Farmcharm, is a cozy, tranquil studio space with PRIVATE entrance. It has a queen bed and sleeper sofa bed (both with memory foam mattresses). Take in the views of 1000's of acres surrounding the property and enjoy sitting on the large back porch sipping your morning coffee and seeing the sunrise (or sitting on the front porch watching all the birds). The property is 15 minutes from Goshen & 7 min. to Troy (13 min. to campus). RTJ golf courses (3) are all within 60-75 min entra The space This 460 sq. ft. studio style loft space It is the perfect spot for those attending Troy University activities and is a great stopping point for those heading to the FL beaches and or other vacation destinations. Golf lovers can enjoy 3 RTJ courses (Cambrian Ridge, Highland Oaks, & Capitol Hill) within 60-75 minutes away! There are 3 wedding venues within 20 minutes from our property. 1 is only 3 miles away. Enjoy the gorgeous sunrises and serenity of the views. We live in a very quiet and peaceful part of county. This space is not accessible by wheelchair. There are 16 steps to walk up to reach the space. Please NO smoking or vaping in loft or on premise. If evidence is found, you risk a fine along with a bad review. No exceptions. Guest access Shared spaces include the carport, front and back porches. Back porch area has plenty of seating and great area to watch the sunrise in the morning. We also have a gas grill and can be used with prior approval. We will also provide grilling utensils. In addition, we have a Cornhole board to use and have just added a Smokeless Bonfire Pit! Please let us know if you use it so that we may provide starter firewood or pellets. The front porch has two Adirondack chairs and a table for your enjoyment to watch the birds in the morning and the sunsets in the evening. Although we do not have a lake on property, there is a public lake for fishing (as seen in pictures), that is just about 1/4 mile from our home. In addition there is other lake (Pike County Lake) within 5 miles, so bring your fishing poles. If you let us know of your interest in fishing, we also have some folding chairs available for your use. Dawn n I will allow guests to use our washer n dryer upon request. Let us know if you might want to use and we will make the appropriate accommodations. Other things to note Our Farmcharm space is a loft style studio that easily sleeps 2 adults, and up to 4 with people as there is a Queen size sleeper sofa pull-out bed. Farmcharm has its own entrance, separate from the main house, and is accessed with a keypad. Pets are most welcome ($20 per pet fee applies) with prior approval. Please note a 2-dog or cat limit, must be potty trained, no fleas and up to date on vaccinations. We have a lab/bulldog mix (Finn), two American Bulldogs (Rosie n Roxie), and four cats (Jerry, Tommie, Louie n Lola) that will be outside for long periods of time. All of our pets are very friendly and are up to date on all shots and vaccinations. Finn, Rosie n Roxie may get excited and could "intimidate" smaller pets. Upon approval of allowing you to have a pet(s), please let us know if your pet(s) is/are skittish and we will attempt to make sure our dogs are inside during your arrival/stay. We also ask that you kennel your pet if they will be left unattended for long periods of time during your stay. Our Kitchenette is inclusive of a small fridge/freezer, sink, microwave, toaster oven and Keurig coffee maker. We also have an electric 2-burner stove top with 2 pots to use for cooking. Complimentary moon pies, bottled water and RC cola will be available for your consumption. CSpire provides TV service as well as internet (Firefox TV allows access to Netflix and Amazon prime as well). We are not aware of any issues relating to using your cell phone data plan to connect to the internet. Should the electricity go out, we have a Generac generator powered by gas, that will power the entire house and loft space.
