The experience is similar to camping in the mountains but with the comfort and protection of a room. (The rooms do not have electricity, we give you a battery lamp). Sleeping listening to the sounds of nature and waking up to the singing of birds and the sound of the stream is one of the highlights mentioned by our customers. We have a beautiful lake, river, horses, trails, meditation area and yoga. Restaurant with artisanal food prepared over wood by 2 chefs. The space Toculaca means “Sacred Lake” in the Maleku language. It is a family business, run by its owners and friends. Completely immersed in the magic of nature. Showers Made of bamboo, they offer privacy while giving the feeling of showering outdoors. Ecological sanitary services: They use sawdust instead of water and after a natural process it becomes compost. Lake: We have a beautiful 3000m2 lake ideal for swimming, floating or simply contemplating the landscape in harmony with our mother earth. Food & Drinks Our chef Mauricio, a Le Cordon Bleu graduate, specializes in fusion food and has extensive experience in vegan food, and will meet the personal and group needs for your retreat. We prepare everything with firewood, with fresh, local and healthy products. Horseback Tours: We offer horseback tours within our farms, where we will take you through streams, mountainous areas, grasslands and viewpoints. You will have the opportunity to observe a large number of birds, both from the area and migrating, and native flora of the northern region of Costa Rica. Picnic: We have spaces for campfires and picnics around the lake or near the river, you choose.  Trails: We also have self-guided trails and walks to the Ron Ron River, where nature has given us a perfect pool for swimming, water currents that are a natural jacuzzi and a beach with sand to sit or lie down to listen to the river and observe the lush nature of the area.
