Peaceful private getaway on Lake Michigan

Relax and enjoy this fully renovated, unique and tranquil getaway. The updated 2nd floor lakefront retreat is cozy and functional. The space features an open layout that seamlessly combines the living area, kitchen, dining and bath. You will have full use of the suite which is closed off from the main house making it truly private. Reservations for 2026 can be booked starting in 2026 when all dates will be open for booking. Message me if you are looking for specific dates. The space The rental is located in the Arcadia peninsula between Lake Michigan and Arcadia Lake. Arcadia has an ice cream shop, gift shop, coffee café, food truck, premier golf courses (Arcadia Bluffs) boat launch, tennis and pickleball courts, community hall with library and fitness center, public beach, and post office. Shopping can be found in Onekama (to the South) or Frankfort (to the North). Both towns offer the usual grocery store, bank, restaurants, gas station, hardware store. You will also find some super cute shops. You will find some quirky things to do around Arcadia, such as Gravity Hill and Old Facefull! There is biking, hiking and kayaking all in Arcadia as well. This suite has its own PRIVATE ENTRANCE. Max guests: 2 (+ infants and children under 2) We do not allow pets or smoking. If you are a smoker, please choose a different property as our entire property is smoke free. No firearms permitted on property Guest access Parking is not a problem at the property or around Arcadia. Most choose to bike or walk in and around Arcadia. You will need a car to get to hiking, groceries, day trips, golfing, skiing etc. Other things to note A Summer Day at Peaceful Getaway It’s going to be great day! What fun will you have tomorrow? A perfect vacation day in Arcadia begins with waking to the chirping birds in the surrounding woods and hearing the Lake Michigan waves roll up on the beach. You make a delicious breakfast on site or you visit one of several local establishments for brunch. As the sun traverses the sky the beach welcomes you for an afternoon of sun bathing, sand castle building or enjoying a leisurely beach walk. Or you may chose to hike one of the many nature trails close by, or a trip to Sleeping Bear dunes, or a raft trip down Crystal river. Whatever you chose to do, as the day comes to a close and the lake takes on a silvery shimmer, dinner beckons. You travel to nearby Frankfort, Beulah, or Onekama for an evening culinary delight. As the sun begins to settle over Lake Michigan you enjoy a cozy camp fire and s’mores. You close out your evening with a round or two of cribbage with your partner and settle in to a cozy bed in anticipation of doing it all over again tomorrow. What fun will you have tomorrow?
