We are surrounded by beautiful walks, views and wildlife. Strictly no parties! Blaison is a family village, it's quiet, peaceful and guests must respect our neighbours after 10pm. Seriously, this property is not for you if you want to play music loud indoors or outdoors at any time of the day or night - or fancy a boisterous late night in the garden. There is a house cat, Monsieur Le Chat, a very chilled and independent tabby who spends most of his time outside and comes and goes via the catflap. No litter box to clean, but guests may be asked to give him a scratch behind the ears, pop a treat or two out and top up his feeder contraption every few days. If you don't like cats or are allegic to them, Claremont is not for you. Guest access Access is via three steps down from a private driveway to the rear patio. This is the main (and only) entrance. There's a longer path via the front garden and a single step - the front door is sealed and just for show. From the patio, guests can access via three steps the private garden with a large sunny deck, apple and plum trees, raised beds full of sunflowers and veg, and a view across a field occasionally patrolled by lambs, sheep or a llama. Or is it an alpaca? We still haven’t decided. Please note: the property isn't suitable for wheelchair users or guests with severely limited mobility. There are steps from the driveway and into the cottage. Inside, there are steps here and there, plus a staircase with a turn to reach the bedrooms and bathroom. Other things to note There is a house cat - Monsieur Le Chat. He sleeps most of the day, hunts by night. He's affectionate and low maintenance, doesn't need a litter tray - only a refresh of his water and occasional refilling of his auto feeder. PARKING - There is a private drive with parking for two cars. The garage is not available to guests to store bicycles or surf/paddleboards, but there is a shed and lots of hidden nooks and crannies. Bicycles are not allowed in the house.
