Description
Private tent camping space with beautiful views of the Sonoran Desert and surrounding mountains. Quiet, serene and surrounded by nature. Can also camper vans, tiny houses etc. We have hot showers (indoor/outdoor), flush toilet, laundry, on site potable water (exceptional filtered, structured, deep well water), an outdoor electric cord for powering cell phones, laptops and small appliances. Other onsite amenities include seasonal swimming pool, ping pong table, cornhole and hoop court. The space At each campsite we have an outdoor electric cord for powering cell phones, laptops and small appliances like the single electric burner for cooking that we provide. We also provide a grill for cooking, plus pots and pans, dishware and utensils, and we have a communal refrigerator / freezer available for campers to share. Guest access Guests can park at each campsite. This site has a pull through drive for pop up campers, trailers, camper vans etc. Other things to note Area attractions include the world-renowned Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum (only 16 miles away, 23 minute drive from our place: Saguaro National Park West (15 miles away, 22 minute drive), plus Madera Canyon, Sabino Canyon, Mount Lemon, Colossal Cave, Kitt Peak Observatory, Kartchner Caverns, Biosphere 2, and many bird watching hot spots including Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge. This is an Ideal location to base camp from and enjoy all that the desert Southwest has to offer. We love being out in the open desert, quiet and secluded, but with easy access to downtown Tucson on the other side of the mountains (about a 30 minute drive). The best of both worlds!
