Outside, you will have access to a private terrace with garden furniture, a dining area, and a barbecue. The pool is shared with the owners. A back kitchen is also present on the ground floor with a fridge-freezer and microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer as well as a coat rack and shoe rack as well as a separate toilet with a handwasher. On the first floor resides a mezzanine with a sofa bed for 2 people in 140*190cm and a library, 2 bedrooms (2 beds for 1 person in 90*200cm, twinned in 1 bed for 2 people in 180*200cm)(1 bed for 2 people in 160*200cm), a bathroom (shower cubicle and sink) and independent toilet. The 10-hectare estate including a 5-hectare forest (ASPAS approved). Other things to note Other things to note The story: We plan to restore the property and bring this historic place back to life. Listed as a Historic Monument, the Château de Jean (ASMH) consists of a group of buildings dating from the 17th and 18th centuries surrounded by 10 hectares of land. Built on the site of an old fortified castle destroyed in 1570 during the Wars of Religion, the present castle was rebuilt at the beginning of the 17th century with a defensive character, then largely rebuilt in the 18th century to make it a pleasure residence. Around 1559, the De Jean family acquired the castle. The rebuilder is Jean De Jean, Prosecutor at the Seneschal of Toulouse in 1604 to whom we owe most of the current construction, after 1621. In 1754, the castle was bought by a wealthy merchant, Jean Toulza, who had many improvements and enlargements carried out: terrace, piercing of the facades, side wings and chapel, interior decoration. The "De Jean" castle includes: - a central, quadrilateral main building surrounded by 4 corner towers with corbels, equipped with defensive loopholes. - two symmetrical side wings of common areas and at their ends the old chapel and the cottage. The 17th century main house is built on vaulted cellars. It is preceded in the South by a terrace built in the 18th century. The site and its surroundings: On site, you can take advantage of the path traced in the forest and along the lake for a walk. The forest is an ASPAS-approved wildlife reserve. The pool will allow you to relax in the summer.
