The Cart House, Hadrian's Wall country

The Cart House is self contained accomodation accessed via its own front door. It comprises of a comfortable lounge and a small kitchenette with fridge freezer, microwave, sink, airfryer, kettle, toaster and dining table. There is also have a one ring table top hob and a grill. A separate shower room leads off the lounge area. The bedroom includes a king size bed set in the alcove of the original stone entrance. Up to 2 dogs welcome, £10 per dog. *10% discount for stays of 7 days or more* The space Guests have sole use of a small patio just outside the back door of the Cart House, not enclosed, that is in a secluded part of our garden. Dog owners please note: We ask you not to let dogs wander out of this area. It has a seating area comprised of a table and 2 chairs. The Cart House is sited on a very quiet lane and is ideal for country walks and cycling. Guest access Haydon Bridge has a regular bus and train service. We have a large drive with lots of space and guests can park right outside The Cart House. Other things to note In the kitchenette we have provided tea and coffee (including decaf tea), a cafetiere, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, mixed herbs and vinegar. Guests bringing one or two dogs - we have two dogs and free range chickens and we ask that you keep your dog/s on a lead or under close control and in the patio area of the Cart House. Dogs are also not allowed on the furniture and are not to be left unattended. We charge a £10 fee per dog per stay. Please let us know if you are bringing a dog. We do not allow other pets. We allow infants but you would need to bring your own cot, high chair or any other essentials. Due to the rural nature of where we live the internet connection can sometimes be unreliable especially in poor weather.
