Bring your favorite person, your animals and have some fun! The Little Deschutes River is a short walk away down a dirt road. Come and enjoy outdoor recreation and quiet nights under the stars. After a good snowfally, you can snowshoe from the door into backcountry BLM land. Easy drive into Bend for some entertainment or the mountain ski slope for a day of shredding. Property address is on 6th Street - on the south end of La Pine, just 2 miles from Hwy 97 on a well-maintained, paved road with 3.5 acres to play in. Our house is in the front of the property and the bunkhouse sits in the garage behind us. It's much nicer than staying at a hotel with your furry family members!! The room is furnished with one queen bed, a wardrobe, a giant bookshelf with the TV on it, great wi-fi and a firestick. We put some games and books in there too. The front corner of the room is a bay window kitchenette with a nice table and chairs / hobbit fridge / microwave / pizza oven / Keurig & pods / toaster, and the basics you need to be comfortable and make some simple stay in meals or heat up leftovers. There is a freezer in the garage you can use for ice cream, ice, or whatever. The bathroom is big and has all the basics (shower stall, sink, full length mirror, soap, shampoo, towels, etc.) The garage space right next to the bunkhouse is yours to use if you like or you can park in front of it right next to the door if you prefer - some people put bikes in the garage, or kayaks while they are out running around and some people like to park in it to keep their car warmer on a winter morning. There is a person-door into the garage right next to the bunkhouse door and a door opener for the garage door. There is a shared BBQ, fire pit, and outdoor seating area in the fenced yard adjacent to the bunkhouse and our main home. If you need something, we are available by phone or in the Air BnB app. We live on the property and are home most of the time if you need us. Most of the time we will leave you alone to get some quiet respite. If you have questions or want to talk about the area, let us know. The swing, dog yard, and BBQ in the shared space is a social space... if you want to share a fire and a beer, we are game! About dogs: The fenced yard (where the BBQ, fire pit and swing are) is fine for you to use for your furry friends if you like, or you can take them out to wander around the property. You can have them off-leash if you think they can handle all the fun and freedom but property is not fenced aside from the shared area and that fence is pretty short so it is only a visual barrier for larger dogs. When you leave, you can leave your dogs in the room or take them with you as you would do at home - we trust you to be good pet parents. We keep our dogs in the front yard so they are separated from our guest dogs. Property is 420-friendly. No extra charge for pets or people, no expectations that you do any cleaning (just like a hotel) and I have never charged anyone an extra fee. Site can host multiple RVs, campers too, so if you have a crowd, let us know!!
