Amazing Lake Living at our Cottage on Lake Hartwell! Our home can sleep 8 comfortably. Mornings are best spent on either front deck or screened in back deck, enjoy your days on the lake with your boat in our covered slip or using our Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Board! Slow down in the evening with a game of foosball, air hockey, watching TV, or the sunset!. Great place to relax in wooded setting. The space The Horseshoe Bend Lake House offers lots of spaces for guest to eat, sleep, and play! SLEEPING ARRANGMENTS: Main Level: Bedroom 1: Queen Bed Upper Level: This is a loft with 2 twin beds in the upper loft Lower Level: Bedroom 2: Full bed Bedroom 3: Queen Bed BATHROOMS: Main Level: Bathroom 1: Full hallway bathroom with tub/shower combo Lower Level: Bathroom 2: Full bathroom with tub/shower combo TVs: 55" Smart TV in the main floor living room 42" TV in the lower level games room TV PROGRAMMING We have smart tv's. Please feel free to log into your own programing, just remember to log out before you leave. KITCHEN: Full kitchen with all full-sized appliances SMALL APPLIANCES: Traditional Drip & Keurig Coffee Makers, kettle, 4 slice toaster, Blender, 4-Quart Slow Cooker (CrockPot), Electric Hand Mixer, Quisinart Chopper, and a Waffle Maker INDOOR DINING: Easy access between kitchen / dining / living room. The kitchen offers new appliances and is open to dining room with seating for 6. OUTDOOR SEATING: On the back deck, you will find plenty of seating for outdoor dining or just hanging out in the sun. We have seating for 9 on the main level deck and additional seating for 5 located on the lower level screened in porch. PATHWAY TO DOCK: Access to the dock is a fun path with stairs through the trees. GRILL: We offer a Gas Grill and we supply the propane! PLAY: Lots to do inside and out! Inside we have lots of tables that can be used for games which we have available for you. Foosball and Airhockey tables in the downstairs living space. DOCK: We have a single slip covered dock with power and a boat lift and Adirondack seating. WATER LEVEL: As of November 14, 2025 we have 8 feet of water at the end of our dock. Plenty for kayaking, fishing, or just hanging out and enjoying the lake! There is a low point at the end of our cove that prevents boats from going in and out so we don't recommend trying to bring boats late fall to early spring. Normal levels in the spring / summer are 15 and there are not issues bring you boat! LAKE TOYS: 2x Sit-On-Top Kayaks 2x Sit-Inside Kayaks 1x SUP (Stand Up Paddle board) We have the following LIFE JACKETS available: 2x L/XL Adult, 1x S/M Adult, 2x Universal Adult, 3x Child We have some basic FISHING RODS that we keep down by the dock in the dock bin. INTERNET/WI-FI: We have fiber internet which give us fast ~300 Mbps download speed! DRIVEWAY As we are in the foothills of the mountains, the driveway is steep, but we can go up and down with no issues from our pickups to our 6 speed VW Jetta! PARKING: Plenty of parking for 6+ cars in our circular driveway! Cottage country in the foothills of the mountains! BOAT RAMP The closest boat ramp to our lake house is the Arves Landing Boat Ramp. It's at the end of Arves Landing Rd which is only 2.5 miles away. CHECK IN: 4PM CHECK OUT: 10AM CLEANING: We clean and prepare our property for guests between 10AM check out and 4PM check in. LATE CHECK OUT / EXTENDING YOUR STAY Extending your check-out past 10am will affect our ability to have the house ready for 4pm check-in. We can alway look to see if the following night is available if you would like to extend your stay to the following day at 10am.
