Stay in Gammelstugan on our farm outside Leksand

Come and stay in the guest house on our farm. It is a spacious log cabin on two floors decorated in an old-fashioned style. The farm is located in the village of Hälla, 5 km outside Leksand. Here you live in the countryside and around the farm there are live farms with cows. You have walking distance to the swimming area at Dalälven and the hiking trail Dalkarlsvägen. The space The downstairs consists of a large living room containing an entrance, dining area and kitchen, as well as a double room and a bathroom. Upstairs, there is a living room with a seating area and a bed, and a bedroom with a double bed, a single bed and a smaller child's bed. The kitchen contains a microwave, coffee maker, stove, oven, porcelain and the most important kitchen utensils as well as coffee, tea, sugar, spices and oil. There is no dishwasher and no freezer though. Guest access You have the old cottage to yourself, but our house and another guest house are right next door. You are welcome to sit outdoors on both sides of the house and to use the green areas at the back of the house. Other things to note The property should be left in a tidy condition. We wish you dry surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom and vacuum the floors. Used sheets and towels are left in the laundry basket. We provide sheets and towels for free. The stairs to the upper floor are steep and have low ceilings and may be difficult for people with reduced mobility. The upstairs security railing is not safe for small children and children cannot be left without supervision. We are happy to accommodate dogs, but not cats. The dog must not be in the furniture and you have to clean thoroughly so the next guest does not have to experience dog hair. There are cats, dogs and free-range hens on the farm, so dogs must be kept on a lead.
