Description

** For photo/video shoots, please inquire to book on the site AVVAY. Not here. Thanks!! Camp amongst a variety of wild and weird creature sculptures in a campsite like no other. A secluded hilltop property on 5 acres of trees, an easy 20 minute drive to Nashville. There are great sunsets up here on the hill, a peaceful little dead-end road. The campsite is at corner of my property, tucked just out of sight of my house a couple hundred feet away. The shower in the woods is a real treat :) The space Stay in my camper, a 1963 Shasta, remodeled by me. I removed all of the old broken camper stuff and it is now a simple, colorful room inside, with a full size bed and some fun funky art from my collection. Enjoy an old VHS movie on the little tv, or some classic cassettes in the tape recorder. The accomodations are minimal but functional. There's electricity, lights and outlets for charging etc. There's a cooler, fan, a electric cooktop, electric teapot, and mini-fridge. Also some cookware and dishes, and press-pot for coffee. Cook up some dinner on the propane grill outside. There is no indoor plumbing, but a large water jug and bucket for washing up, as well as a container for drinking water (I will provide 2 gallons of fresh drinking water in a glass containter upon arrival but you will be on your own after that) Well-water is available at a spigot near the camper. An air conditioner is available to keep you cool, and a space heater to warm you up. There's a firepit just outside with plenty of places to sit. Firewood is available for sale from me for $10. The equally wild and weird outhouse and outdoor shower (with on demand hot water!) is just a few steps down hill in the trees. T.P. and soap included. You can buy supplies and food at a big-box store just a few minutes down the road. There are plenty of places to hike etc out this way, my favorites are Beaman Park, Bells Bend Park, and the Bi-Centennial Bicycle Trail in Ashland City. Well-behaved pets are allowed but please keep them leashed. Be sure to give me a heads up to let me know what furry friends will be joining you :) *** WINTER NOTE--- During the winter months, depending on the weather, the shower and outdoor spigot may not be available due to freezing temps. I will try to keep it available as long as possible. I will still provied the jugs of water for drinking and washing up. The heater keeps things cozy in the camper, so no worries there. Feel free to message and check with me about the shower status. Other things to note You can take home a piece of art! "creature art", plywood cutout creatures approx 18"x18" are available for $75. message for availability. (see pics in the listing) I also have firewood for sale. $10.
