The studio apartment is a self contained unit situated off to one side, on the ground level of the main house, with its own private access. The layout of the studio is open plan with a separate shower room and the interiors reflect a simple, modern, minimalist island vibe. Think white polished concrete floors, washed linen bed sheets, rattan accents and floaty curtains billowing in the breeze as you unwind to the soothing sounds of the ocean. **Kindly note our property may not suitable for elderly people or those with reduced mobility** Our neighborhood is situated on a hill and guest parking is at the top of our driveway, positioned on a moderate slope leading down to our extraordinary clifftop, ocean front location. The studio is accessed via an external staircase alongside the main house. Please refer to the photo gallery for imagery of the driveway and external staircase. Please also keep these points in mind when considering the type of transportation that will work best for your needs. We wish to provide our guests a private experience. However, we will be available to you via Airbnb chat to answer questions, offer advice and provide assistance throughout your stay. We may also be available in person as required. Basic amenities such as a grocery store, pharmacy and cash point are all within a 3 mins drive. Our location is central and convenient, within a 10-15 minutes drive of the main town of Hamilton and in close proximity to many of Bermuda's best beaches, restaurants and attractions. Do keep in mind that our neighborhood is situated on a hill. For guests interested in walking for enjoyment and/or exercise, some of the most beautiful walking trails are located within a 5-10 mins drive. There are several transportation options available on island. 1. Electric Vehicles (EV’s). We highly recommend renting an EV as it is a fun, safe way to explore the island sustainably. Our property offers guest parking and is equipped with EV charge points for Twizy and Yoyo EV models (both available via Current Vehicles) as as well as a standard electrical outlet. If you are not renting via Current Vehicles please check with the supplier beforehand that their particular EV model will work with these plug types. When renting an EV, we recommend you book via Current Vehicles and request to pick-up/drop-off at The Loren Hotel. The Loren Hotel is conveniently located within 5 mins drive from Cove House on the the way to/from the airport. 2. Mopeds. We do not recommended mopeds unless you are a confident & experienced moped driver. 3. Taxis. Taxis can be booked in advance or as/when required. We recommend you download the local taxi app 'Hitch'. Alternatively, you may call Island Taxi directly. Please be aware that the efficiency of taxi services island wide depends on the time of day and availability of drivers. We are central and generally the taxi wait time from our location is within 10-15mins. However, should you need to keep to a specific schedule/reservation/flight time etc we suggest you plan ahead and allow extra time to avoid disappointment. 4. Buses. The nearest bus stop is within a 10 mins walk of Cove House. Do keep in mind for walking to/from the bus, our neighborhood is situated on a hill. Public buses service most of the island and a detailed bus schedule is available online. If there are particular amenities you would like that we have not listed, please do ask. We may be able to organize for you by special request. Our basic additional services include; Pre-arrival grocery shop. Provide us a list of grocery items and we will stock the kitchenette. $25 service fee plus the cost of groceries, per the terms outlined in the House Manual. Linens/bedding/towels refresh. Due to our water conservation efforts, we ask you to please kindly consider the necessity of linen/bedding/towels refresh. Towels refresh. Towels may be refreshed at any time by request at no additional charge. Linens/bedding refresh. For guests staying more than 7 nights, we offer one complimentary linen/bedding refresh per week by request. Additional linens/bedding refresh is also available by request, per the terms outlined in the House Manual. Additional cleaning. We provide a full range of cleaning products located under the kitchenette sink for use during your stay.
