The perfect spot to relax, unwind and cozy up to the fire, enjoy the new hot tub or take a long walk along the beach This very spacious home is ideal for families or couples looking for a summer or winter getaway. The home is equipped with all the comforts of home such as bedding, a full kitchen, living area and a deck with a BBQ. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front deck or bbq up your favourite dinner while watching the kids play in the backyard The space This bright, spacious home comes equipped with everything you need for a getaway! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans and complimentary coffee or enjoy the bbq (propane provided) on the large deck. The living area features comfy furniture, a TV with Valley Fiber to stream your apps, watch tv or enjoy a movie. Spend an evening playing board games or relaxing with a book in front of the fire. With 3 bedrooms, this home is the perfect spot to host a family or a quiet group of friends who want to enjoy swimming, walks along the beach or ice fishing and snowmobiling in the winter. All 3 bedrooms come with comforters, sheets, pillows and pillow cases. A few bathroom and kitchen towels are provided, however guests are asked to bring some along as well. The outdoor area includes a huge deck with bbq (propane provided), an outdoor fire pit and a brand new salt water hot tub (Nov 2022) located on the back deck- the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the backyard High speed internet is provided and ideal for guests who are working remotely or wish to use steaming devices. (Valley Fiber) Outdoor activities are endless from exploring the beach, taking long walks, a swim in the lake, visit the Farmers Market through the weekends in the summer months, biking or hiking through nearby Camp Morton Provincial Park trails. The lake is less than a 5 min walk from the home) Winter is no exception with nearby lake access for ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing or cross country skiing on the groomed trails in Camp Morton Provincial Park. While the cottage is located in a quiet area, there are many amenities close by. Hnausa (located about 15 minutes North) features a quaint general store and a boat launch. Also heading North is Riverton. A short 15-20 minute drive will take you to gas stations, grocery stores, amazing ice fishing and a boat launch. Head 10 minutes North and you will find Silver Harbour Marina. Silver Harbour features a brand new general store in case you forgot any essentials or to pick up an ice cream treat, a boat launch and beautiful areas to walk or bike. The town of Gimli is about 15minutes south. Gimli has 2 grocery stores, multiple restaurants, gas stations, parks, an outdoor pool, boat launch, a clear ice road for ice fishing and access to the snowmobile trail. So many options at your fingertips!! Licence Number: GSTR-2024-022 Guest access Guest have access to the entire home throughout their stay. Outdoor buildings such as the garage are not available for guest access Other things to note There are sheets, comforters, pillow cases and pillows provided at the cottage. Please only use beds that are needed. Bathroom and kitchen towels are provided (a couple of each) Guests are kindly asked to bring additional towels. There is toilet paper (1 roll per each day of the stay), garbage bags (1 bag per each day of the stay), paper towel (1 roll per stay) provided If you feel you will require more than this amount, please include some in your packing. Hot tub: Guests are asked to please rinse off prior to entering the hot tub. We kindly ask no glass or food or smoking around the hot tub. It’s important to us that the hot tub is available for all guests to enjoy therefore it’s important that each guest takes of the hot tub Please be cautious in the winter months as the deck and stairs can be icy. All guests are asked to leave the cottage in the same clean condition at check out. Please ensure the bbq is scrapped off, discard any left over food and the grills wiped. This is a courtesy to the next incoming guest. Propane is provided. No events or parties are permitted. Overnight guests are not allowed. The indoor fireplace is available for use. Guests need to bring their own firewood and supplies. Only guests who are familiar with wood burning fireplaces are permitted to use the fireplace. Guests are asked to clean up the fireplace area and leave it was it was found. Firewood is not provided. Please also review the expectations regarding garbage and recycling- Wednesday is pick up day.
