Spacious and bright bedroom with private bathroom in a lovely three-story townhouse forming part of the renowned Commonwealth Games Village, 5 mins from the city centre by train. The room includes high speed WIFI and a smart TV, and with floor to ceiling windows in the living room and the roof top terrace there are spectacular southerly views along the river Clyde and over the adjacent woodland park, only two minutes from the house. I share the house with my quiet and friendly cat, Tueta. The space The room includes a writing desk as well as two comfy armchairs. Two large windows bring lots of light during the day, and the quiet neighbourhood and double glazing ensure you'll get a great nights sleep. The commonwealth village is an eco-friendly community. The house includes high quality thermal insulation, with a Nuaire mechanical ventilation system that includes a heat exchange system that filters fresh air into the house and modifies humidity levels throughout the property. The house benefits from solar panels and heating and hot water is provided by the Athletes village energy centre, a district heating scheme linked to an eco-housing model. Tea and coffee is available in the kitchen.
