Le Rayot is a 17th-century manor house, located in the heart of 5 hectares of gardens, forest, and fields, on top of a hill with a very pretty view. In summer, games and alfresco dining by the saltwater pool and pool house. In winter, evenings by the fire. Nearby, great walks in the countryside and vineyards. A peaceful haven 10 minutes from La Réole and the bastides of Monségur (night markets, famous jazz festival) and Sauveterre-de-Guyenne. The space The large kitchen has retained all the charm of the old, with oak countertops, a long, very convivial wooden table, and oak benches. Fully equipped for large groups, with an American-style fridge-freezer, stainless steel stove and hood, dishwasher, microwave, high chairs, etc. A large, spacious, and comfortable living room with sofas and armchairs, piano, insert in the marble fireplace, TV, games... A modular dining room that allows everyone to gather around the table. Guest access Guests will have access to all the property's common outdoor areas (gardens, woods, fields, etc.) and to the swimming pool in summer (from June to September). It is not heated and has a salt electrolysis system for a very, very pleasant swimming experience. This large pool benefits from a pool house equipped with a storage room, toilet and an outdoor kitchen with fridge, stove and dishwasher. Under the veranda, you will find a barbecue, table and chairs and admire stunning views. This is a perfect place to relax and dine al fresco. For players and athletes, you will find (indoors or outdoors): - Ping pong table - Bicycles - Molkky game - Vendée shuffleboard - Slackline -Board games - Card games ... Note: Sometimes we may run into each other in the pool for a little swim in this pool that belongs to the common area. To be precise, there are no tenants other than you on the site so this is only for me and my family. My two little girls appreciate being able to cool off when it's very hot, when it doesn't bother anyone of course. Other things to note The cleaning fee package also includes the laundry fee for all bed and bath linens provided.
