A single family home located in the suburbs of Washington D.C, 10 minutes from Shady Grove/Red Line by car, a little longer by bus - about 20 minutes. Three comfortable bedrooms with one full size bed. A shared full-size, newly renovated bathroom. A community pool in the summer & tennis courts. Washingtonian Center around a man made lake. If you want to eat healthy, Whole Foods is withing 10 minute driving distance. Costco and Sam's Club are about 15 minutes away. The space There are three bedrooms with one full size bed in each bedroom. The fee is per person, per room. Third party reservations are not permitted as per Airbnb guidelines. The thermostat is st to 74 degrees F in the summer and and 68 degrees F in winter. We are close to all of the attractions of the U.S. Capital. We have NIH Translational Services (5 min by car) and NIST if you are doing your internship, and others if you have your internship in the Rockville and Gathersburg area. Guest access All the amenities you need including a community pool in the summer. Washer, dryer, iron and ironing board are available. Wireless internet access is available. During your stay I am a retired public school teacher. My household is quiet and well organized. We can socialize as much as you wish, or not at all if you need peace and privacy. Other things to note In addition to English, I speak Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian, Russian, French and can function in Spanish. I will respect your privacy and will never enter your room unless it is a cleaning day which is once every two weeks (done by hired cleaning team). You will be expected to keep your bedroom, shared bathroom, and the kitchen clean after usage. I also value my privacy and rest, as I work full time. Please do not store any food in your bedroom so as not to invite any four-legged creatures. Please do check in and check out in person. This is a quiet house - we respect each other's right to rest and privacy. I provide a courtesy roll of toilet paper, but the rest is your responsibility since I offer long-term stays. I ask that guests take their shoes off when entering the home and place them in the shoe closet. No weapons of any kind are allowed. Please provide your own food, cooking oil, condiments, and laundry detergent, as I do not provide them. Overnight guest charge is $30 per night. Please be courteous of your time usage in the bathroom because it is shared.
