Home in St. Charles

This is our primary residence...we live here :) We offer a beautifully equipped private lower level suite. It is a large open space. It has a queen bed in a nook area, a pull out sofa bed, and a single bed as well. Our goal is to offer you a luxurious stay with a feeling of peace & warmth upon entering our home. We live in a quiet neighborhood featuring a beautiful golf course community. We offer light continental breakfast items *You do enter through our front door and go down to your space The space ***The home is ideal for a couple and 2-3 kids. Or 3 adults. Not for 5 adults *** We have had many guests who attend the Q Center and Lamplight. We are only a few minutes away from both locations. The entire lower level suite is intended for your use. It is private and has plenty of square footage. You are also welcome to use our backyard/fire pit/outdoor dining area/porch. Our washer and dryer will be available upon request. We also have bikes that we are willing to share. A poker table cover, cards, board games, and books will be in your unit as well. We can offer our ping-pong table if you let us know in advance. Guest access The entire lower level is all yours! Please feel free to use the backyard, porch/deck, fire pit, and the outdoor dining space. We want you to feel welcome and comfortable! During your stay We DO live in the home, and we love our home! We want to respect your privacy during your stay, and at the same time, we are very helpful and supportive as needed. Please do not hesitate to ask if you need anything to make your stay more comfortable! We are recent retirees….Mark from law enforcement, and Sara from hair coloring. We are looking forward to this new chapter of our lives…slowing down and opening up our home to new friends from near and far! We are empty nesters. (except for our puppy, Moji…a wonderful sweet hypo-allergenic mini Golden Doodle that has captured our hearts) We volunteer at church and with local causes, we golf (or try to!), hike, bike and like to stay active. We love to travel, eat out, and hang out with friends & family. Other things to note We will provide coffee, tea and light continental breakfast items during your visit. (Except for extended stays) Climbing the stairs is necessary. Our dog lives here as well, but she is hypoallergenic (essential due to Sara‘s allergies, which is why we cannot have other pets)
