Home in Topanga

Welcome to All Natural Live Oak Retreat! Our home is an oasis, a wild sanctuary at the edge of a wild city. We have worked hard to create a place in which guests can enjoy the finer things, all the while, reinvigorating themselves in nature's embrace. The space Our home is nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains. What that means is: you will see, hear, smell, touch and even, if you're adventuresome, taste nature (wild mustard is in bloom!). Our home offers creature comforts, and also, the occasional creature! You may see quail, woodpeckers, bobcats, mule deer, scorpions, coyotes or even tree frogs. Topanga is a very special wilderness, in which we co-exist with our natural world. We welcome guests who would like to honor and respect nature and at the same time, enjoy themselves in a serene environment (but you may see a spider--please feel free to escort them outside if so). Other things to note There is another guest suite on the property. The gate to the property and the parking area are shared. There is a front yard which is where the other guest suite has their door and seating area. Live Oaks Retreat has your own yard, which is next to the canyon and Mountain View. QUIET HOURS: 9pm-9am NO SMOKING anywhere on property NO SMOKING marijuana indoors NO SHOOTS of any kind NO PARTIES NO EVENTS Please note, our home is situated in a beautiful forest, so we get to enjoy the spectacle of majestic flora and fauna in our surroundings. On the very rare occasion, there could be a spider or other wee woodland friend, indoors. If this happens, they are easily escorted back out, and we are happy to assist if requested. (It is uncommon, but our home is in the woods :) Thank you!
