Islander Tree House on Stilts

The Islander Tree House on Stilts is out of the way and quiet but within an hour to an hour and a half drive to many things. The Ocala National Forest, Silver Springs, Beaches, Disney and the attractions in Orlando as well as several nice hiking areas are close by. The little towns of Mt. Dora, Eustis, Tavares, and Leesburg are all close and offer restaurants and shops and are fun excursions as well. The space The Islander Tree House on Stilts feels like its name suggests—perched up and tucked away, with pretty views out of every window. The little house sits down a long drive between the main house and a pasture, giving it a secluded, quiet feel. A covered porch with outdoor seating offers a nice spot to relax, and there's a patio area for spending time outside as well. Inside, the layout is open: living, dining, and kitchen space flow together. The kitchen has a full-size sink, a range with hood, a refrigerator, a microwave, and an island worktop, along with dishes, silverware, and basic cooking items. The dining area holds a larger table and chairs, while the living area has a couch, two recliners, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and a desk—a comfortable spot to settle in after a day out. There are two bedrooms. One bedroom adjoins the bathroom and holds a queen-size sleep number bed; the second bedroom has two twin-size beds. The bathroom includes a tub/shower combination and a pedestal sink. The windows look out over a pasture, a live oak tree, and the gardens and yard of the main house—part of what gives the space its treehouse-like, nestled-in-nature feeling. The whole property is non-smoking and non-vaping, inside and out. Guest access Guests will have covered parking under the Islander House on Stilts with access to the stairs just a few steps away. A car is needed for transportation in the area. Uber and taxis are available if needed. Other things to note Stairs are required to get to the guest house and are a consideration when deciding to stay here. The property is non-smoking or vaping inside, on the porch, or anywhere on the property.
