Private Room and Comfy Bed in Cozy Home by Campus

Enjoy your stay in a private room in a cozy brick house in a great location. Just two blocks from Boise State University, less than 10 minutes from the airport, and only a few minutes from downtown! We have a small and friendly Siberian Husky in the home just in case you are allergic to dogs. If you need to check in before 4pm message me first and I’ll see what I can do. No guarantees though. The space This is an extra room of mine I furnished with a full bed with a heated blanket, dresser, television, and a lamp stand with extra outlets by the bed. The TV doesn’t have any channels but is equipped with a chrome cast so you can stream from your devices. If it gets chilly you can turn on the heated blanket on the closet shelf with the white control that just needs to be plugged in and adjust the temperature with the up and down buttons. If it gets hot in the summer time you can turn on the window AC unit, just please turn it off when you’re not in the room. The room is also equipped with soaps and towels if needed. I work in sales and will probably be out of town during your stay. But you’ll be sharing my home with my easy going roommates Antonio and Neo who are in and out and another Airbnb guest if my other room is happens to be booked at the same time. All living necessities such as cooking, bathing, and laundry are available. My home is old and isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing, hence the low price. But your room will be spotless and we do our best at keeping the bathroom and rest of the home satisfactory. The bathroom is my next project that needs remodeling so the upkeep is more difficult. We keep the shower as clean as we can but the older exterior makes it look less clean than it actually is. The main reason why the price is so low for the room is because of the work needed on the bathroom so please consider this before leaving your review but I promise your room will be clean and cozy :) Guest access You are welcome to all living spaces in and outside of my home besides my roommate’s bedroom and the other guest room of course. Your room does have a television but there are no cable or satellite channels. It is equipped with a chrome cast so if you’d like to stream something from your own device you have that option. I have a brand new 75 inch TV in the living room. I typically watch TV when I get home late from work if I’m in town but you’re more than welcome to flip on the tube when I’m not home. You can either log into your own streaming services account or you can use my Netflix or Hulu accounts. Just don’t mess up my preferences by adding or removing anything from my lists on my Hulu and Netflix accounts :) During your stay If you need to check in before 4pm message me first and I’ll see what I can do. No guarantees though. I will most likely be out of town working during your stay but if I happen to be here when you check in I’d love to meet you and answer any questions you have. If I’m not here I always have my phone handy. I have one roommate that may or may not be there named Antonio who is very easy going and stays pretty busy out of the house with his job. You may run into another Airbnb guest if my other guest room happens to be booked as well. You are welcome to all living spaces in and outside of my home besides my roommate’s bedroom and the other guest room of course. Antonio does all of the upkeep while I’m gone and can also be asked any questions about any of the amenities. We also have a small friendly Husky named Allah :) Other things to note No additional guests beyond what was selected upon booking please. As mentioned this is a shared home. So please be mindful of my roommates if they’re home and other Airbnb guests if my other room happens to be booked. Just try not to be too noisy, cleanup after yourself, and try to limit bathroom time since there is only one bathroom to be shared. Also, please turn off the window AC when not in the room, please close the shower window when finished showering, and please keep the bathroom door open so others know when it’s not in use. I take pride in not including deceptive cleaning fees or a deposit when my guests book, so please be very careful not to plug the toilet, stain your bedding, or damage anything else and I’ll gladly write you a good review to reflect your consideration :) Also please try an recycle any hard plastics, aluminum cans, etc. There is a paper bag with a note above it in the kitchen by the trash can. The amenities of the house are old but still work. Feel free to do a load of laundry if you need and I’ll have detergent available and dryer sheets in cabinet right above the dryer.
