Fancy a rustic holiday experience with up to 12 people? - Then the "Ansitz Ötztal" is just the thing! Centrally located in the Ötztal, our house offers the perfect opportunities for an incomparable holiday experience, both indoors and outdoors. The numerous possibilities for outdoor activities are inviting - in all four seasons! Skiing in Hochoetz, Niederthai, Kühtai or Sölden as well as hiking, the Stuibenfall, the Ötzi village or Area 47 are within easy reach. The space The Ansitz Ötztal is a former farmhouse dating back to 1750, in which we endeavour to preserve the rustic charm of this house as much as possible. This includes creaking wooden planks, sometimes cold walls and crackling wood-burning stoves - but also modern bathrooms and a special holiday experience like in grandmother's time with a touch of today's luxury. The price offered refers to the use of the holiday home "Ansitz Ötztal" as offered via the booking portal. The basic price includes a stay for up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. For each additional person (up to a maximum of 12 people) a daily flat rate is added to the basic price; this is €10/day for children under 15 years and €20/day for adults. Infants up to their 4th birthday sleep free of charge in a cot in the parents' bedroom. We are happy to provide our very young guests with a cot free of charge (max. 3 cots available) and a high chair as well as a chair to attach to the table. Depending on the number of people and the needs of the guest, the 4th bedroom is also available. The Ansitz Ötztal is a self-catering chalet, i.e. only an initial supply of the usual consumables is provided on handover, i.e. you may need to replenish these yourself. Our services essentially correspond to a hotel standard, which differs from other self-catering huts. Only the tourism flat rate (see below) is charged separately and is not included in the price. You will find a detailed list below: Included are: - Bed linen plus cosy blanket, towels (2 per person), shower towel (1 per person), tea towels in the kitchen, kitchen towels and sponges - Initial equipment for - Bathrooms: toilet paper, liquid soap Hand basin - Kitchen: dishwasher tabs, rubbish/biological waste bags, washing-up liquid/cleaning agents - Household waste disposal (please sort, appropriate bins are provided) - Wood for heating the three wood-burning stoves - Use of the washing machines and tumble dryer in the laundry room - Final cleaning (180€ per stay) - Use of WLAN in the house   Excluded are: - Tourist tax (4,00€ per day for persons who are 15 years or older in the year of arrival). - Electricity according to consumption at cost price (0,35€/kWh). Note: Unfortunately, we have had the experience that guests have left the electricity consumers (e.g. sauna and infrared heaters) running continuously with the windows open, causing considerable costs. Unfortunately, we had to record consumption of over 120kWh/day. We decided to take this step because we do not want to raise prices as a matter of principle and want to promote the conscious use of energy. The consequences of the Ukraine conflict have unfortunately led to a considerable price increase. We hope for your understanding). Optionally bookable are: - Sauna on request (one-off flat rate of €30; large sauna towels and infusion aromas are also provided). - - Dogs are very welcome in our house. We only ask you not to take your dog into the bedrooms out of consideration for the following guests. We take the liberty of charging a daily flat rate of €5.00 for each dog. A dog basket, a food bowl and a water bowl are available for your pet. Guest access You have exclusive access to the entire house! Other things to note In addition to the price, a tourist tax is due. This amounts to € 4,00 per day for persons who complete their 15th year of age or are already older in the year of arrival); from 1 Nov 2023 the visitor's tax amounts to € 4.00 instead of € 3.50. We are required to collect and pay this visitor's tax on site. In return, you will receive a guest card with which you can enjoy various benefits (e.g. free use of the buses).
