Enjoy drinking coffee on the porch watching the deer and birds. Take a 2 minute walk down our path through the woods to our waterfront where you can enjoy the water. Our home has high speed internet, smart tvs in every bedroom, corn hole boards, firepit and gas grill. The kitchen is well stocked for all your culinary needs. The space Our home is filled with art inspired by the Chesapeake Bay and surrounding wildlife. Birdwatching is wonderful here! Bring your kayaks or boat to tie up to our shore and enjoy fishing or crabbing. Smith Point Marina is 2 miles away from our home if you have a boat. At the end of the day, enjoy a drink on a lit deck and a restful sleep on memory foam cooling mattresses. This charming peaceful retreat is waiting for you! Other things to note Although we have water access, there is no traditional sandy beach. At low tides, there is small sandy beached area. The bottom is sandy and very nice for swimming. We would advise using water shoes anytime swimming in the river. Our cottage is private but located around other homes with neighbors. The neighbors have cats and dogs that may been seen or encountered on the property. The animals are friendly but always use proper caution.
