Meadowside Private Room with Private Bathroom

Located in Macclesfield, our home features a beautiful modern dining area/kitchen which is shared with us. It opens out through bi-fold doors onto a beautiful outdoor seating area and garden. As guests at our home, you will also have your own private bathroom. It is super easy to catch the bus from our house to Macclesfield station or to cycle there. The walk is approximately 35 minutes and very simple. Macclesfield is surrounded by beautiful countryside, including the Macclesfield Forest The space You will have your own private bathroom with shower and bath, as well as your private double bedroom. The bedroom has its own kettle, and drawer and hanging storage. Our house is in a residential area, so some quiet traffic noise will be audible. You’ll also have shared access with us to our kitchen/dining area and the garden. We’re also happy for you to use our lounge area, but ask that you respect this as our area to relax in the evenings after work. Guest access There is private parking at our house During your stay We will always be able to offer help to our guests during their stay. Sometimes, if we are very busy with work, we won’t be around to socialise during a guests stay. Our dogs, Poppy and Amis, are friendly and love people. They may bark when you first meet them but this is an expression of excitement. If you say hello they’ll be very happy to meet you. Poppy, our younger one, is a rescue pup, and does get over excited sometimes when she meets people and jump up and down, but she is very small. Other things to note You’ll have your own storage cupboard in our kitchen as well as shelves in the fridge and freezer. You’re also welcome to use our laundry facilities and cooking equipment. We ask that you always clean all crockery, pans, and cooking utensils after using the kitchen. We know the surrounding Peak District area very well, so if you need any recommendations for walks and exploring just ask. AIRBNB GUEST HOUSE RULES These are just a few things we ask our guests to adhere to during their stay. We aren’t super strict as hosts, but we like our home, dogs and our space to be respected. DOGS - Do not feed the dogs without our permission - Do not take the dogs for a walk - Do not leave the front door open at any time. - If you don’t want our dogs to explore your room and bathroom, then we ask that you close your doors. HOUSES RULES - Please wash all glassware, dishes, pans and cooking utensils after using our kitchen. You can either hand wash or use our dishwasher. - Please do not put your feet up on the furniture. - We ask you not to wear shoes indoors unless they are clean or house shoes/slippers. - If you wish to have a guest to stay you will need to ask us first. - No parties. BEDDING - If you wish to have your bedding changed, please inform us. We do not enter our guests rooms during their stay without their permission. - If you would like us to arrange for our cleaner to clean your bathroom during your stay, please inform us. Some guests prefer to clean it themselves. - If you would like us to hoover and dust in your room during your stay, please inform us. USE OF THE LOUNGE - the lounge is open to guests use however we do ask you to consider that this is our home and we also use this space and may have plans to watch something or to play a boardgame etc.
