Nestled among the trees, this bright and serene home is off a quiet road just minutes outside the village of Rhinebeck. The house features lots of light, direct pond view, indoor fireplace, and renovated kitchen. We offer a great value while providing high-end amenities like luxury linens and towels, hybrid memory foam beds, and down pillows and comforters. This home sleeps eight (and up to ten with the two rollaway beds) and is the perfect getaway for a group trip or family stay. With its spacious floor plan, everyone in your party will be able to find their own private spot to relax and recharge. Equidistant to both Rhinebeck and Hyde Park, you’ll have easy access to all the area amenities, including nearby scenic strolls. Pets are welcome to join in the fun at The Mills House. Living Spaces When you enter The Mills House, you'll immediately notice how clean, inviting and well-equipped the home is. Between windows, doors and skylights, the sun pours in, casting a bright, warm glow throughout. Two separate living room spaces invite you to relax and connect. When you want to hang out with friends, curl up with a good book, or check up on social media, head to the central living room with its coordinating designer sofas and ottomans. And be sure to take full advantage of the corner bar, complete with glasses, shakers and cocktail books. The separate den, with a cozy brick hearth and fireplace (for viewing only), is the sweet spot to stream your favorite shows on the Smart TV. Our Wifi offers a speed of 476 Mbps. We have a beautiful wood burning stove in the dining room that is fully operable with wood supplied. Cooking & Dining The fully-equipped kitchen will make your family chef’s heart sing! With stainless steel appliances, loads of cabinets for all your goodies and groceries, and plenty of work space, it will be an easy task to create all the family’s favorites. Add to that a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee pods, tons of cheery natural light, and you’ve got a winning recipe! You’ll all feel like royalty sitting at the gorgeous dining table for 8 with leather seating and smart lighting to savor the chef’s specialties. Sleeping Accommodations and Bathrooms The Mills House has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, comfortably accommodating your group of up to 10. The large primary bedroom suite on the second floor is a true retreat. It offers a two-story ceiling, king sized bed and dual nightstands and lamps. Two rollaway beds for an additional two guests turn it into a great family suite. You’ll also enjoy the privacy of an ensuite bath. Perhaps the most interesting thing about this space, however, is the second floor loft that doubles as a complete work space, with desk, chair and bookshelf, or reading nook, overlooking the beautifully wooded backyard. On the first floor, the second guest suite offers a queen size bed and en-suite bath. The third guest bedroom has a queen bed with dual nightstands and lamps, and a ceiling fan. The fourth bedroom offers a twin bed with an additional pull-out trundle bed. These two guest bedrooms share a full hallway bath. Outdoor Amenities Mother Nature is really the star of the show at The Mills House. Undoubtedly, you’ll spend many contented hours simply taking in the calming and serene surroundings from one of several outdoor vantage points. Enjoy gazing out at the pond from the beautiful teak couches surrounding the outdoor firepit. Be sure to enjoy a few meals al fresco at the dining table on the deck, perhaps enjoying a hamburger or hot dog from the gas BBQ grill. Guest access There is plenty of parking in front of the home and a self check-in keypad entry. Other things to note There’s a reason so many estates were built in this hamlet. Enjoy Hudson River hikes, historical tours, and farm stands right in the local area. 15min drive to Rhinebeck or Hyde Park for famed restaurants & shops.
