This unique DIY cabin, hidden under the trees, is totally private, surrounded by nature, and lovingly built for family and friends to gather and reconnect in a perfect sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Located only 25 km from Tirana, it creates the perfect get away for experiencing each season to the fullest. Hand-crafted in style by its owner, an outdoor enthusiast, this cozy, character-filled cabin in the woods blends rustic lodge elements with modern comfort, decorative charm, and playful touches, creating a sense of comfort and intimacy. The warm glow and natural materials give it a magical, inviting vibe—like a place to relax, gather, or spend time away from the world. The space is warm, rustic, and thoughtfully designed — the kind of place that feels instantly cozy the moment you step inside. • It features a high-ceilinged, open living space with exposed beams, a rustic stone accent wall, eye-catching artistic décor (unique art installations) hanging on the wall, and wide plank (natural wood) floors that give it a classic mountain-retreat atmosphere. • A spiral staircase leads up to a loft-style master bedroom with a spacious, comfortable bed and wood-beamed ceiling area enclosed by dark wooden. The window in front of your bed offers breathtaking views of the sky, the mountain, the valley, and from the window on the side of your bed you will see and be closed to the treetops and forest canopy. • Also on the loft level, you’ll find a relaxing chill-out corner designed for slow mornings and peaceful evenings, comfortable and a soft seating area, windows overlooking the forest canopy, the village and he hills, letting in beautiful natural light. Kids especially love this area, as it feels like a treehouse. A cozy spot ideal for reading, journaling, napping, or simply enjoying the silence of the woods. It’s a calm, elevated nook that makes the loft feel like a private sanctuary. • One of the most unforgettable features of the cabin is the view from the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the open-plan living area. From sunrise to sunset, the windows flood the entire space with soft, warm natural light, making the living room feel open, bright, and deeply connected to the outdoors. During golden hour, sunlight pours through the branches and paints the interior in glowing tons of gold and amber. And in the evening, you can sit on the couch—resting against the rustic stone wall—and watch the sky change colors as the sun sets behind the hills. From there you will enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in Tirana. • At the heart of the cabin is a wood-burning stove. It casts a soft glow across the room, giving the space that quintessential cabin warmth. (We provide the wood free of charge). • Bar/kitchen nook: A compact bar setup sits on the left with stools, shelves, and all the appliances. The fully equipped and functioning kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, bakeware, stylish sets of dinnerware and different types of glassware, wine glasses etc. • A barn-style wooden door leading to the kid’s room, a cozy room designed with families in mind, it features a bunk bed perfect for three kids or additional guests, a large window directly facing the bed, offering magical nighttime views of distant hills, scattered village lights, treetops, and the open sky, peaceful morning light and a calming atmosphere ideal for reading, playing, or stargazing from bed. It’s a room that gives children (and adults!) a special sense of adventure and connection with nature. • Game table: A round table in the center can be transformed into a mini ping-pong setup for playing and gathering. • Natural Accents: The loft railing is decorated with branches and twinkling fairy lights, giving a whimsical, enchanted-forest feel. • Natural and rustic decor—branches, skull mount, rattan light, dark wood beams—tie the cabin aesthetic together. • Books, lanterns, and blankets that add character without feeling cluttered. • Cozy, intimate, and inviting woodland hideaway — perfect for unwinding, reading by the fire, or simply watching the trees sway outside. • Modern amenities: Smart TV with Netflix and Disney subscriptions, Air Conditioning, hot water, and wi-fi. • Full bathroom with bathtub, washer, wood cabinetry, and unique mural artwork Nature & outdoor spaces • Total seclusion—totally hidden in the woods, offering complete privacy, full independence, and no interactions. • Peaceful large patio overlooking the mountains, the Erzen river valley, the village, the treetops, and the forest, ideal for reading, coffee, or a glass of wine. During the full bloom in spring and summer we also put there a dining table for enjoying your meals under the trees. This large front deck is frequently called everyone's favorite spot, where the outdoor living area awaits under the trees and makes the space look like a treehouse. • Gas grill and tools. • Outdoor open-air shower surrounded by greenery, built from natural materials, overlooking the hills and the village. Every detail is designed for comfort, peace, and a deep connection with the surrounding nature. • Hiking trails starting from the cabin - We have a security camera on the outdoor, overlooking the entrance from the gate, and it is to protect our cabin as well as your belongings, though the area is very safe and locals are very welcoming. We will not access the camera during bookings, unless in case of an emergency. Nearby adventures - - 10 minutes walking to the village center, where you will find restaurants, grocery stores (selling basics), and an info point providing information also in English, on all the hiking trails and directions to the river, for swimming and bathing during summer. - 30 minutes hiking to the Cave of Pellumbas or as locals know it, the Dark Cave, a prehistoric site with impressive formations and artifacts, offering a blend of adventure, history, and nature. It is one of the only 6 Karst caves in Europe. In addition to its stunning natural beauty, the cave is also of great historical importance to Albania as archaeologists have found remains of the human culture of the Paleolithic period in it. - The Canyon, featuring stunning mountain views, lush forests, and crystal-clear waters with swimming holes, accessible via a moderate hike from the Cave of Pellumbas. The challenging trail is marked with red/white signs, offering stunning views of the canyon and river below. - 20 minutes from Elbasan. - 30 minutes from Tirana. Guest access Guests have full, private, and exclusive access to the entire cabin and all outdoor areas, including: • The cabin interior • The patio and balcony • Outdoor shower area No shared spaces. No interactions unless you want assistance. Everything is entirely yours for the duration of your stay. Other things to note Important Note: • Our cabin is not considered infant friendly (infants under 3 years old). If you are interested in staying with infants, please be aware of the following hazards: - Unfenced balcony, surrounded only with ropes. - A narrow spiral staircase that does not have a baby gate. - Furniture that is not mounted on the wall may tip over (bookcase). By requesting to book, you are agreeing to full responsibility and liability for all children present during your stay and agree that they will be monitored by a responsible adult at all times. • The cabin is set above the village, on our private property of 5000 m2 woods, it is totally isolated, independent and private. • A car is recommended for reaching the property (25 km from Tirana). Free parking spot at the gate.
