New, modern and family-friendly cottage with Jacuzzi

Modern cabin in a cozy cabin yard, with jacuzzi on a large plot and balcony where you can enjoy sun, lake views or gather for good meals. From the cabin you can roll over the grass and down to the lake for a dip. Or - you can take on the hiking boots and explore the marked trails around the island. Perfect for nice jogging, fishing and recreation! The space The cabin contains an open living room/kitchen solution, with exit via large sliding doors to a large, sunny terrace. The cabin has 4 bedrooms with lovely quality beds from Jensen, 150-180 cm wide. The first floor includes a living room/kitchen, 3 bedrooms, bathroom and laundry/technical room. On the 2nd floor you will find, in addition to a bedroom, a toilet and a nice TV/attic room (with the possibility of 2 extra beds) with lake view and exit to the balcony. In July, and the last week of June and the first week of August, we only offer rent Sunday-Sunday. Please contact us to check availability and price during the period. Bjørkøya is located in the idyllic archipelago outside Langesund and Stathelle. From here, it is a short drive to Valle, Helgeroa, Stavern, Brevik, Langesund with Hotel and water park, Porsgrunn and Telemark Canal. On nice days, Jomfruland or Kragerø are popular destinations by boat. On Bjørkøya, everything is set for relaxing summer days with swimming, fishing, hiking, boating, and recreation. You can reach the island by boat, ferry, or car (ferry). It is possible to use the berth (3m width) belonging to the cabin. You can also use the two kayaks at the cabin. In summer, there are several daily ferry departures to the summer towns of Langesund and Brevik, with restaurants and offers to shop for ice cream and food within walking distance of the ferry dock. Outside the summer season, there is a car ferry between Bjørkøya and Brevik 2-4 times a day. The island has a cozy restaurant with delicious food (open weekends May-August and Wednesday-Sunday in summer). The island is very child-friendly and from the cottage you can walk straight down to a large grassy plain that can be used for play and ball games. In the extension of the plain is the warm harbor, with beach, bathing jetty and diving board. There are several beautiful sandy beaches on the island and several nice hiking trails marked by the tourist association. For the older children, there are nice rocks to jump from and exciting nature to explore. Miscellaneous information: If you wish to bring pets, please contact us in advance about this. Otherwise, pets are not allowed. Smoking is not permitted inside. Ordinary household waste is disposed of in a container located at the ferry dock. The island is basically car-free, but it is allowed to drive from the ferry dock to the cabin's parking lot on the cabin area. In July, the cabin is rented out for entire weeks from Monday at 6 pm to Monday at 11 am. Guest access Shared parking behind the cabin area, on the gravel. There is only one parking space per cabin. Otherwise, there is a common parking lot on the island. Other things to note Can be rented for whole weeks in the summer, see Finn ad or contact the landlord. Cleaning: The cabin is cleaned upon arrival and must be cleaned before departure. Dishes must be washed, the grill must be cleaned, and garbage must be taken with you upon departure. Bed linen, towels for use in the cabin, gas for barbecue and basic goods in the kitchen are included.
