Small Berry house in the heart of the grove

This small house is located 5 minutes from the A20, 10 km from Argenton-sur-Creuse, 10 km from Saint-Benoît-du-Sault, 14 km from Eguzon: you can easily discover this beautiful region. Please note, the house does not have Wi-Fi and the phone network is not very good: you will therefore be forced to relax, rest and enjoy nature! In winter, heating is only by wood-burning stove. You can sit in the armchairs, nice and warm. The space The home has a living room and bathroom on the ground floor, as well as a bedroom upstairs. Please note that the upper floor is accessed via a spiral staircase, as you can see in the photos. The living room has a 140 sofa bed. The upstairs has two beds, one 90 and one 140 (new mattress, very comfortable). We do not have wifi or TV. On the other hand, there is a hifi channel with many CDs, some novels, children's books and board games. The house is very old and the tiles of the living room are original, so don't expect a spotless floor without dust or cobwebs! If you're a cleanliness freak, go your way… We do not charge a cleaning fee, so we count on you to leave the house in the condition in which you found it. Please note that in summer it quickly gets hot upstairs. We have a fan, but you have to make sure to close the windows and shutters during the day and open them at night. The upstairs window is not secured, so you have to be very careful with children. We do not accept dogs because the house does not lend itself to it: the garden is not fenced and there are animals all around, chickens, sheep and cats. The house is not made for those who are allergic or do not like cats... Neighborhood cats could give you a short visit! LGBTQIA+ friendly Guest access Parking is easily available in front of the house. Other things to note The environment is very quiet: the house is surrounded by fields with sheep. There's only one other house nearby. It is possible to take hiking trails from the house. If you are coming for a quiet retreat or to play music, this is the place!
