We are an ideal location for campus visitors. The guest room of our historic Stanford faculty home features a private, keyless back entry, a comfortable queen bed, full bath, and on-street parking. Relax in our quiet garden or take an invigorating hike at "the Dish " or around " Lake Lag ", both close by. * Please note: We welcome guests to use our garden but there is no access to the rest of the house. Mini-fridge and tea kettle only. Campus eateries and cafes are a 5 min walk away. * The space Fast wifi and an antique desk overlooking our fountain and gardens offer a tranquil workspace. This bedroom enjoys some of the best morning light in the house. The Tressidor Student Union, with a Starbucks, the Coho Lounge, and a variety of eateries are four blocks away. Guest access Guests will have access to the rental room and all outdoor seating areas. Other things to note I've lived here over 13 years -- happy to help you with any recommendations or special requests. So many hidden riches in the area, many close by. This is what I love about living here -- " vacation" can be had in a mere minutes' drive. Premiere hiking, biking, dining, golfing, shopping, surfing, SUPing, birding -- just ask and I'll point you in the right direction. The Stanford Mall is a shoppers paradise, as are our fabled links, for the golfers looking to unwind. And, of course, there is SF and all the excitement & adventure & cultural experiences it offers, easily accessible by Caltrain. Sundays enjoy the Cal Ave Farmers Market with the best coffee and Dimsum around ! Much to discover between your meetings and work agenda.
