Loft Apartment on Horse Ranch

Tongue Creek Ranch offers everything from beautiful views of the famous Grand Mesa and Adobe Buttes to the peaceful sounds of creeks flowing around the property. Our petting zoo has 6 of the sweetest Nigerian Dwarf Goats, chickens, and the star of the show, BoMama our miniature donkey. Make a bonfire or visit a number of wineries, fishing holes, mountain hikes, snowboarding and skiing, boating, 4x4 trails, skydiving, scenic mountain towns, historical museums, national parks and more. The space The barndominium is in the upstairs area of a remodeled barn. The space has two decks, one larger facing west (perfect for sunset watching) and a smaller deck off of the east side master bedroom. You will enjoy the vaulted ceilings and cozy propane fireplace. There is a queen sized bed and a queen sized “Murphy Bed” in the living room as well as a twin sized bed adjoining the bedroom. We also have available EV charging down at the workshop. This is one of 3 Airbnb’s on the property. Our guests are welcome to walk around the 70 acre ranch and enjoy the expansive views. There are several grass yards for walking the dog or playing with your kids as well as a large play set. We also have a small petting zoo with goats and chickens and BoMama our miniature dinkey. We ask that all guests be accompanied by one of the owners to go into the pens or corrals; otherwise, for your safety and the safety of the animals, please visit them through the fences. TCR is a working farm and ranch. You’ll fell the country life as tractors and hay trucks come and go. You might catch one of the clients training a horse on the barrels in the arena. Or you might catch a glimpse from the balcony of the 5 huge bulls roaming the lower middle field. Guest access There is ample parking in the guest parking area facing the creek to the south. Or, if you have big trailers or campers, you can park in the circle drive in front of the house to the south. Other things to note The barbdominium is a perfect place to watch the sunset beyond the Adobe Buttes with the backdrop of the Grand Mesa. This is also a tranquil place to watch horses interact with each other or observe their training for various activities.
