Warm up in the wood-heated Finnish sauna, relax by the indoor fireplace or outdoor fire pits, and watch the Northern Lights dance above. Silence, snow & pure Scandinavian magic await. The space There is a traditional wood heated Finnish sauna in the back yard overlooking the bay. Get heated up before you take a refreshing dip in the water. Or in the winter throw yourself in the meter deep snow if you dare. Guests have private access to a large garden with several outdoor lounges to chill in during the summer and fall. Prepare your barbecue dinner on the large grill in the back yard or cock over open fire or on the traditional Muurikka. The nature is right by the doorstep. Take a relaxing stroll in the nearby forest or go on a beautiful train run in one of the many running trails. The place is a paradise for ornithologists with swans and sea eagles and many other birds regularly housing in the area. If you are lucky you might also catch eye on the majestic King of the Forest: the moose. You will be sleeping in a bedroom with a king size bed (for two people) with comfortable bed linen and blackout curtains to prevent the midnight sun from disrupting the sleep. The kitchen is completely renovated in 2020 and is fully equipped with induction stove, oven, microwave, fridge and freezed, Moccamaster coffee brewer and a large dining table. The kitchen overlooks the bay and the beautiful back yard. The bathroom has heated flooring a shower and washing machine and a dryer. Relax in one of the armchairs by the fireplace in the lounge. Or gaze at the stars after nightfall. In the lounge guests can also get comfortable in the sofa and watch a movie on the big screen tv with access to Apple TV, Netflix, HBO. Free 5G Wifi included. Bright summer nights are best spent in the outdoors lounge by the beach. Relax in the hammock or enjoy your dinner at the dining table while enjoying the midnight sun over the bay. In the winter you can expect lots of snow (usually from December to April). If conditions are right you can go skiing on the bay straight from the back yard. Or why not try to catch a perch or pike with traditional ice fishing. If you are into skiing, there are lighted skiing tracks appr 10 min away from the house. Guest access The villa is a 15 minute drive from the centre of Luleå and about 25 minutes from Luleå Airport. The place can only be accessed by car no public transportation is available. A pick up from center of Luleå or the airport can be arranged for a fee of 500SEK. Taxi from airport to the villa is appr 800SEK Parking is available right by the villa. Other things to note A certain amount of fire wood is included in the booking fee. Additional fire wood can be purchased for a small fee.
