Deer cross right through the yard daily. Don't be surprised if you see a shy little fox that has taken up residence in the area along with a nosey raccoon. In the cooler months, you might see any of the many geese and wild ducks that frequent the lake, along with a family of herons who nest here each year. Beavers and muskrats are frequently seen as well. It's a quiet piece of nature just off the beaten path. Interstate 22 is only 1/4 mile away which will take you to several towns in close proximity. Tupelo-10 miles, New Albany - 8 miles, Pontotoc-12 miles, and of course Oxford (Ole Miss Home) is only 36 miles away. If you ever need anything we’re just across the lake and will be glad to help in any way. We’ll leave you to enjoy your stay but we’re here for you any time. This is a peaceful setting about 1/2 mile off interstate 22 at the Toyota exit at Blue Springs, MS. We have another cottage on the property but they’re a good distance apart with a recreation area nestled under towering shade trees. We’ve provided a fire-pit, grill, & Adirondack chairs for your enjoyment. Deer make daily trips across the property and it's not unusual at all to see one or more when driving into the property. My husband and I live just across the lake and always here if you need anything, but we won't come around to bother your stay. There’s a spacious white rock drive and parking area. Located about 1/4 mile off I-22, you'll find it very close to several cities and smaller quaint towns in the area. Tupelo is only a 10-minute drive while Oxford, which is home to Ole Miss, is a 35-minute drive. There's a local grocery store just 4 miles down the road, along with a family buffet restaurant just across the road from it. 2 miles up the road, you'll find a family-owned BBQ hut & a local gas/grocery store. All you need to do is bring clothes and personal items such as toiletries you prefer. We think we’ve got you covered. A short 10 minute drive and you can shop local grocery stores for supplies you prefer.
