The Flower Room: Refinement and Simplicity

Immersed in the Venetian countryside. Animals, river walks, good food, a little tennis, summer kayaking... and the scent of peace! Only 15 minutes from the Marco Polo Airport, 30 minutes from Venice and a short drive to Treviso. Close to many "off the beaten path" tourist attractions, museums and theatres. Served with numerous local sport activities, including a Tennis Club across the dirt road. Rich with outstanding nearby culinary experiences. We serve serenity and the charm of good people. The space The villa is split in 2. The host, with her mom and the pups, occupies one side. The other side is completely independent, including 2 bedrooms, a shared bathroom, a large living room/work space with fast speed internet (Fibra), a fully stocked kitchen with dining, an extra room in the back available for storage, front patio with dining, and a large shared backyard. The room is situated on the second floor. The rest of the house is shared with 1 or 2 other guests, but only if both rooms are occupied at the same time, otherwise the space is completely private. The living room/work space is communal with the house, meaning that the host may rarely use it for quiet remote work. Extreme discretion in regards to the guests. The living room/work space can be reserved for small dinners and/or business/work meetings with advance notice. For longer stays, we provide cleaning once a week - unless otherwise needed, in which case a €5 fee will apply - includes clean linens and towels. Laundry service is available. We wash, dry, iron and fold. Charge applies and varies depending on load. To not exceed €15. The home sits on a large rural property, with rich agriculture, a large horse stable, a 4 courts Tennis Club and an astonishing villa housing a popular local restaurant. Right outside the front door the countryside extends far and wide, and one can walk for hours through it, without ever living the surroundings. To venture along the Sile river on the stunning Restera path, it's just a short walk along the main road. We provide 2 bikes. Kayak, bicycle, stand up paddle, boat rides and other nature/river activities are available nearby with rentals and organized group outings. We can assist in arranging rides to close by train stations and airports if needed. Busses come close, but it implies some walking. A vehicle is highly recommended. Rentals available at both the Venice and Treviso airports. We are very well positioned for easy logistical access, yet secluded enough to provide the charm of the typical Venetian country life, the serenity of the perfect farm stay, surrounded by animals and family. With just enough input from the outside world - what with random cook outs at the Tennis Club and the scent of the perfect "Fritto Misto" from the restaurant nearby, filling the air 'round 7pm each night - to provide a peaceful, yet well rounded and entertaining stay. We will make you feel at home, your home. Guest access There is uncovered parking in the driveway in the back of the house. 4 cars can be arranged to have open access to the gate. Otherwise, there's plenty of parking on the country road in front of the house. A vehicle is recommended. We can assist in arranging short rides if needed. Venice airport/car rental is 15 minutes away. Treviso airport/car rental is 30 minutes away. Near by train stations range in distance, about 20-30 minutes rides. Busses come close, but are not at a comfortable walking distance. During your stay We are a very musical and colorful family, with a long standing history in the area. We apply the most sensitive discretion, however, for those who enjoy social interaction, we are here to share our little piece of paradise and tell the tales of the land we love. Linda or her mom will be available at any time. Although we share walls, we prefer to communicate via text, so to not disturb each other inappropriately. Of course, if needed, we are a knock on the door away. Other things to note Linda's Studio, located on her side of the mansion, is available upon request to use as an exercise room. Weights, bands and yoga mats are available, as well as the opportunity to book private classes with the host, who's a Pilates/yoga/ballet teacher, with worldwide expertise.
