Our Flatshare is located just 5mins away from the Lakeside & the Bokar Monastery. This room has a double bed suitable for solo travellers, backpackers or budget couples. The writing desk/chair in this room make it a good room for aspiring writers & creative minds. Toilet/bathroom & common areas such as balcony, verandah, terrace and kitchenette are on a shared basis. Only Beds &... conversations (if you like!) Rates and discounts may vary for long stays, peak and off-peak seasons. The space Haamro Ghar means ‘Our Home’ in our language. We’re a family-run homestay in the heart of Mirik. We’ve always had friends and families who surprise us with visits; hosting guests is therefore a part of our family's hospitality. When they aren’t visiting us, we make the rooms available for you! We have been living in Mirik since 1997 & our home not only represents us & our stories, but it is also our way of sharing stories & having a good laugh with people from different backgrounds from far & wide. These flatshare apartment rooms are basic but clean, cozy and comfortable. We have: One family room with a king and queen bed One room with a standard double bed One room with a queen size bed Two single rooms with a double bed Rooms for all! Choose what suits you best. You can also book the entire flat for a group booking. Guest access You are more than welcome to come up to our terrace to view the beautiful Himalayas and lakeside, relax in the sun. Feel free to interact with other guests staying in other rooms and the locals in the neighbourhood. Use the verandah/balcony only for smoking please. Other things to note Meals can be provided for an extra charge. Please discuss with us in advance. Please do not smoke and drink inside the rooms. The kitchenette and washrooms will be used by others too, so please clean up after use for others. Ours is a very close-knit neighbourhood with families and children, so we request you to respect the culture and people here. Kindly maintain decorum at the property. We would appreciate it if you kept the rooms clean and tidy as you would keep your home. Leave dirty shoes outside the room. The neighbourhood tends to sleep early too, so we request that guests do not create noise or play loud music post 10pm.
