The space The beach house is designed over two levels with the main living area, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the lower level; 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the upper level. The spacious open plan living area is comprised of newly renovated modern kitchen, TV lounge, double volume dining room and comfortable sunken sitting room. Flowing uninterrupted off the kitchen is the dining space with a table that seats up to 10 people. The multi level deck overlooking the indigenous garden is located either through double glass patio doors leading off from the dining space or the sitting room. Glass double patio doors lead out onto the deck/patio. TV ROOM - Charming, comfy blue & white stripe sofa perfect for snuggling up and watching TV. DINING ROOM - Large wooden dining table seats 10, glass double doors lead out onto deck/patio that overlooks the garden. DECK - Multi level deck perfect for outdoor get togethers, Alfresco dining, sunbathing & cook outs. Medium sized charcoal braai/barbecue available. GARDEN - Consists of pebble and sand pathways, indigenous plants, fire-pit embraced within semi-circle of logs. Private access to beach and sundeck/windbreak on the dune. ACCESS TO THE BEACH - Quick and easy access to the beach, private path and dune stairway take you directly to the beach. Beautiful views, soft sandy beaches that stretch for miles. BEACHES We are so fortunate to have 5 beautiful unspoiled beaches in Sedgefield that are never crowded even during peak season. The beaches run into each other from Swartvlei in the West to Platbank in the East, over a stretch of about 6 kilometers. Guest access PARKING - Off street Parking for at least 4 cars. The house is located on a quiet street with a fantastic Beach bar & restaurant within close walking distance. ACCESS TO THE BEACH - Quick and easy access to the beach, from the garden take a 60 second walk along the private path and dune stairway directly to the beach. PORT ELIZABETH - Only 3 hours from Port Elizabeth this peaceful space offers a relaxing and restful breakaway from everyday life. CAPE TOWN - Only 5 hours from Cape Town.
