Welcome to this beautiful 3-bedroom Waterfront Cottage on All-Sports Wiggins Lake in Gladwin, MI! You will enjoy sitting on the front deck sipping your morning coffee while soaking up the amazing sunrise views! The lake is just a few steps off of the deck for you to cool off or catch plenty of fish. Wi-Fi, Smart TVs in the living room and each bedroom, and air conditioning will make you feel right at home in this wonderful lakefront property. This is a pet-friendly cottage. The space This cozy waterfront cottage offers comfort, convenience, and the perfect setting for making memories. Inside, you'll find a spacious kitchen and dining area that opens to the living room in a welcoming open floor plan. The well-equipped kitchen includes appliances, cookware, dishes, utensils, and more. We provide starter supplies of paper towel, toilet paper, laundry detergent, and dish soap for your convenience. A kitchen peninsula with bar stools and a dining table (with a leaf) provide the perfect space for relaxed meals, card games, or just catching up. The three bedrooms are nicely sized, each with a ceiling fan, Smart TV, and clean linens ready for your stay. The updated bathroom includes a stand-up shower, and a newer stackable washer and dryer are available for your use. Stay cool and comfortable during the warmer months with air conditioning in the main part of the home via a mini-split air cnditioning unit. Outdoor fun awaits! Enjoy a cozy evening around the fire pit, tie up your boat at the private dock, or cast a line right from the shoreline. The flat yard is perfect for yard games, and the gas grill, padded patio furniture, and large yard swing make outdoor living a breeze. When you're ready to explore the lake, you can take a few short steps down the seawall ladder to a partially sandy area to cool off. Water shoes are recommended since there is some muck and weeds further out. If you bring your own boat, you can head to the sandbar where neighbors gather to socialize, float, and play games. You can also swim in the deeper waters near Chappel Dam, go tubing or waterskiing, and even fish for Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Crappie, Bluegill, Perch, and Walleye. For a memorable off-lake adventure, bring or rent kayaks or tubes and float down the scenic Cedar River. Along the way, you'll discover rope swings and swimming holes—pure Michigan fun! There’s so much to see and do on and around beautiful Wiggins Lake. Please make yourself at home—we’ve saved you a seat! Note: We no longer rent a pontoon, but several great options are available locally for about $200/day. Just Google search boatsetter and search “Gladwin, MI” to find one! Guest access Plenty of parking both in the backyard area, as well as along the roadside. (Even for your boat trailer.) Other things to note If you are into river tubing and kayaking, be sure to check out Cedar River Outfitters in Gladwin to book your adventure. If you have your own kayaks or tubes, be sure to inquire about how to access the river for a wonderful time on the water! We've done it and would love to help you on your trek. :)
