Spacious Seaside Cottage - Heart of Portpatrick

Hill Street Cottage offers a contemporary and relaxing get away in the heart of Portpatrick. The cottage is a stones throw away from the small beach and seafront and of course local pubs (often playing live music), open fires, restaurant's, many walks, golf and local amenities. It is perfectly situated to explore this attractive harbour village and other local attractions in Galloway. Whether you want to walk, cycle, explore or just relax, our cottage offers the perfect home from home. The space Our beautiful, recently updated and upgraded detached cottage has two bedrooms, one large double and one twin room, a bathroom with shower upstairs and bathroom downstairs. The main bedroom is light and airy and has a fabulous comfy super king-size bed with gorgeous Egyptian cotton linen, sumptuous soft goose down duvet and is super quiet for those lazy mornings. There is an open plan kitchen, dining and living area with an additional chill area with a comfy snug chair for quieter times. The living area has recently been updated with a contemporary feature wall with new Samsung Smart TV, Netflix and a Living Flame effect fire with mood lighting for those cosy evenings in. There is an additional sunny breakfast room overlooking the enclosed and private patio area that is perfect for morning coffee. The private and enclosed patio area is perfect to relax and enjoy the sunshine and fresh sea air, access can be from the sunny breakfast room or from the garage space. We have the luxury of having a garage space that is just off the living area and is suitable for dog bowls, golf trolleys, wet weather gear, bikes and even room for motor bikes. Hill Street Cottage offers privacy from other holiday makers who wander around the village as we are situated in a no access road - which means no one is peeking through the window as they pass by - situated perfectly, if we say so ourselves. We supply good coffee, tea, sugar, and also packed lunch boxes and flask for those last minute picnics. A good charcoal BBQ and other little touches that will make your stay that little bit special. We are very pet friendly and welcome well behaved dogs and respectful owners. In fact the village itself loves to welcome your pooch with open paws. The local tea room, pubs and restaurants' all within a stroll from the cottage are great for a visit, some with real fires, that of course are great for your pooch to slouch next too. We have pet beds, toys, bowls and also a doggy towel at hand in the cottage to ensure your stay is made as easy as possible and if you let us know if you are bringing a pet, a wee welcome goody bag for them :) Guest access There is free off street parking outside and around the immediate vicinity. There is a double garage space that can be used for wet weather clothing, bikes, buggies etc - although due to the age of the cottage it is not suitable for cars due to access. All local amenities are a minutes stroll including the harbour - infact you can actually step outside the front door and see the waves rolling in.
