Judge Peek Cabin

Judge Peek Cabin is a charming, old wood Tahoe home that makes you feel like you are stepping back in time. Enjoy the real Tahoe experience from the big sunny deck, in front of the large stone fireplace, or drink in the lake view from the hot tub. The cabin is centrally located - 10 minutes to downtown Tahoe City, and 15-20 minutes from Alpine / Squaw / Northstar. It's the perfect cabin for a quiet mountain getaway. And We’re dog friendly! The space The kitchen is small but well stocked with the essential pots, pans, flatware, and glassware. There is a coffee maker and a stovetop espresso maker to help jumpstart your day. For entertainment, we have wifi and RokuTV that connects to YouTubeTV for live TV, Netflix, and other streaming options. We also have a vintage stereo complete with a record player. For those looking to work remotely, Judge Peek has high speed wifi that won't disappoint, and is equipped with a well appointed work station with adjustable standing desk and external monitor. So while you should really unplug, you don't have to. Unfortunately, Due to fire danger, the outdoor fireplace and bbq are currently off limits. We apologize for that inconvenience. Other things to note If traveling during winter, please be prepared for winter driving. The cabin is located in a neighborhood with hilly, narrow streets. Good tires, 4wd and smart driving essential. We are not responsible for issues related to winter road conditions and will not be able to issue refunds if your stay is disrupted due to mountain weather. The best way (the way with the least hills and curves) to get to the cabin in the winter is to go through Old County Rd on Dollar Hill. Take a right on Summit, follow onto Nightingale. Then right on Shamrock down to a right on Carnelian. Then a left on Tunnington. House is second on the right.
