The suite is centrally located, which is quiet and peaceful. It is walking distance to the Sawmill Tap House, Riots Brewing, shopping and townsite of Chemainus. Echo heights (Wul'aam park) is directly across the street with a great network of forested trails! The space Space has a private entry way and in the Summer months you can enjoy fresh Spinach and Lettuce from the garden. The yard has unique trees known as the Weeping Sequoia, many Hummingbirds, Thrush and Cow Birds. The full Kitchenette offers a toaster oven, induction plate, mini retro fridge with freezer and a second fridge with a larger freezer and microwave. The back deck is covered so guests can BBQ in any weather. The heated bathroom floors are nice for the feet. The large bedroom offers a Queen bed and closet. The living room has a comfy couch and chair, smart TV with Netflix plus WIFI. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the bottom deck area and backyard. The owner will have to water planters during the Summer months and cut the grass in backyard. Laundry usage just off suite as there is no laundry facility in Chemainus. The closest laundromat is in Ladysmith. Other things to note Chemainus is close to great Mnt biking trails such as Maple Mountain or Tzouhalem. The murals around town are nice to discover and the theatre in town is open again. The Cowichan Valley Trail is 8.5km, which follows the scenic Ocean side from Chemainus to Saltaire. If you enjoy Paddle boarding or Kayaking and you don't have either one can rent from Sealegs at Transfer Beach 15 min scenic drive to Ladysmith. If you have your own PB or Kayak one can put in at Kin Beach or Transfer Beach to explore the Gulf islands and the estuary. If your interested in Wineries, Salt Spring and Shawnigan Lake area provide wine tasting in the Summer months. Merridale Cider has a lovely Bistro to enjoy an afternoon of garden dining and Cider tasting. Being centrally located the activities are abundant.
