Casa Catalina- Cheerful place w/ hot tub (ciubar)

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun, large courtyard with trampoline, children amenities and barbeque, as well as outside hot tub (ciubar). You can easily reach different parts of Maramures if headquartered here (Barsana, Rohia, Botiza, Sighet, Ocna Sugatag, Cavnic etc.), but you can also spend peaceful days enjoying the nature or activities such as hiking, biking or using the ATV on the hills around. A comfortable rural home centrally located in a large village. The space Casa Catalina used to be my grandmother's house and is named after her. We redid the interior completely in 2021 and transformed it into a refuge from the hustle and bustle of Bucharest, where we currently live and from where we escape to Maramures as often as possible. Since we don't get to use it as often as we wish, we are prepared to share it with mindful guests in search of some quiet days in a spacious environment, in the countryside but with all the comforts we've grown accustomed to. It was fully renovated in 2021, the furniture are new and custom made. It is a comfortable place, very quiet because it is away from the main road. During summertime it keeps a permanent chilly temperature. We designed it to be a home away from home, so guests have everything they need for self-catered stays, whether short or long. If you need any additional items my parents live in the house next door and will help you gladly. You can enjoy some days of rest or have a more active stay - hiking, biking or just walking around the village. Children will have a chance to see operational households, chicken, livestock and pets and also see how a vegetable garden is tended to and flourishes. If you only have a few days to wind down an authentic rural stay will help. If you want to travel around we are very well placed for you to make Casa Catalina your headquarters for a few days in Maramures. We added a few photos of the views you can enjoy in and around the village, which can also be reached walking or with an easy hike (we tested it with our 2 children - aged 2 and 5). Guest access Casa Catalina offers private and exclusive access to the house, frontyard and the BBQ area to its side. Guests should note that Casa Catalina is located near my parents' house and theirs is a working rural household operation. They grow chickens, have a dog and 2 cats and have access through the backyard of Casa Catalina to my father's garden and greenhouses. Still, guests will be guaranteed their quiet, privacy and exclusive use of the house, barbeque and front yard. My parents will be at your disposal for anything you might need, but otherwise will not interfere with your stay. Free parking is offered on the premises for up to 4 cars in my parents's courtyard (separated by a fence and grapevines from Casa Catalina's courtyard). Other things to note Because my parents' household next door is a working household guests will be able to purchase vegetables and eggs, subject to season and availability. Also, guests may enjoy the hot tub (subject to a separate fee and availability) but should note that it is located to the side of my parents' house, in their backyard (15 m away from Casa Catalina). When using the hot tub guests will also have access to a dedicated bathroom (with bathtub, WC, bidet) and an outside shower. The hot tub is equipped with high performance filter and pump for cleaning the water.
