Minutes drive to downtown Gualala, shops, and local beaches. Compact and quaint space to relax. The space The Moon Shack is a rustic tiny house with comfortable amenities including heated floors in the kitchen and bathroom and a 12 inch rain shower and heated bidet. It is a quirky and cozy space for a getaway. It is centrally located in Gualala and minutes to downtown shops. Level 2 EV charger is available and complimentary. The kitchenette is a very functional space and includes a toaster oven, electric pressure cooker (InstantPot), small refrigerator with freezer, microwave, single butane burner, hot water kettle, and sink. There is also plenty of room outside to eat and enjoy coffee or tea under the redwoods. There is a Weber gas grill for cooking outdoors. Please note that the pictures accurately portray the layout of the Moonshack. There is no dining table inside, but there are TV trays provided to eat on if needed. This is a minimal yet very functional space packed with comforts. *** Please be fully aware that the Moonshack is not a normal sized house. We called it a "tiny" house because it is small inside. If you are looking for a stay with more interior space, this would not be a good fit. *** *Rates are for 1 person. Each additional person is $20 per person per day for 3 people Max. The Moon Shack is the perfect getaway for 1 or 2 (a couple) and their child. As pictured on listing, there is no door from the bedroom and living room so might not have enough privacy for 3 adults. This is a minimal but comfortable space to enjoy this beautiful coastal area. **Well Behaved Dogs are welcome for $20 per day per dog (4 dogs max ). Dogs have their own enclosed yard but must not be left unattended at anytime. ***Please Note*** The Moonshack is located on a shared property where the main house is visible. The Moonshack and yard is completely enclosed by fence and is separated by a bamboo fence from the main property. If you have any questions about this please ask prior to booking. Guest access Parking is on the property. It is a short walk from the parking space to the Moonshack. A cart is provided to haul your belongings if necessary. The driveway is shared with the main house, but there is a dedicated spot for guests. Other things to note Note: There will be an additional 11 percent Mendocino county tax charged that will be included automatically. Cell reception along this area of the coast can be inconsistent regardless of which carrier you have. Please take this into account when planning a trip. The Moonshack is on a shared property. The main house is visible, however the Moonshack and its yard are completely fenced in.
