The lovely cottage garden themed Potting Shed Cottage is on the award winning Bishopthorpe Road with lots of good local independent shops, cafes, supermarkets & restaurants. Easy Walking distance to city centre and on a bus route to city (bus stop a few yards away). Tea,Coffee,milk,biscuits &other curated goodies plus a welcome basket. Toiletries provided + fresh white towels & fresh linen Wired smoke alarms,first aid kit, fire extinguisher& carbon monoxide detector,fire blanket provided. The space Sleeps 3 With free WiFi ,Potting shed cottage is a cottage garden-themed 3 bedroom self contained house,it has a spacious sitting room with large corner seating 2 armchairs, coffee table, small breakfast table or workspace, flat 50” screen free view TV with NETFLIX & AMAZON, & piano, family size fully fitted kitchen with cooker, hob,fridge, washing machine, Belfast sink , microwave and honesty bar. We will ask you which beds you prefer making up before your arrival. There are 3 bedrooms,the first has a double bed and the second has 2 single beds. The larger bedrooms both have a set of drawers, wardrobe & bedside cupboards in each, 1 single bedroom with full size single bed and chest of drawers. The bathroom has wash basin, toilet and bath (shower over) and shower taps on the bath.There's also a sunny patio area off the kitchen on the ground floor. We have 2 pet ducks, Florence & Violet who go quackers when first let out at 8.30 but usually well behaved and content for the rest of the day. We hand over the keys then leave you to settle in and make it your home for the holiday. We're on hand if needed but otherwise we will respect your privacy.Self catering. Please let us know if you'd like us to accept a supermarket delivery for you before your stay, we are more than happy to do this for you. Guest access Relax, kick off your shoes & make yourself at home in Potting Shed Cottage. The full cottage is yours to enjoy with pretty sunny patio, perfect for chilling out with a gin & tonic or glass of wine or two! If you arrive by car, once parked you won't need your car as access to york centre is a pleasant short walk, either through Rowntrees park, and along beautiful scenic riverside or past local delis & shops & scenic bar walls! Other things to note We have beautiful Rowntrees park at the bottom of the street opposite the cottage which is great for a stroll and there's a quaint reading cafe too! There is a local pub next door serving various gins and guest ales and food so you don't have far to go if you fancy a night out!
