Country Cottage near West Point

Welcome West Point visitors! This listing is one room for up to two guests. A second, smaller room with a daybed and pull out trundle is available in addition for up to two additional guests. Message for details. Enjoy a private bedroom and private detached bath in our home located just 1.5 miles from West Point's Thayer Gate and within cadets' walking privileges. The space is off Main Street in Highland Falls, just outside of the quaint downtown and very close to Bear Mountain. The space Entry to the house and first floor are shared but we will strive to give you as much privacy as you desire. You will have a private bedroom with a full bed, sitting area, and closet. Down the (short) hallway, you will have a private full bathroom. The house sits on a large pond. You are welcome to enjoy the deck, backyard, and outdoor firepit during your stay. Note: there are a few steps up to the front door and to the second floor where the bedroom is located. Guest access Shared entrance to the home. Driveway parking available. Other things to note No smoking or drug use. No parties or events. No unauthorized guests. Quiet hours 11:00pm-7:00am. We have a fluffy calico cat and dog (a pocket lab). Our dog is a jolly fellow and may jump when he first sees you. Please alert us if this could be an issue. The pets will be kept out of your space but they will want to say hello in the common spaces! The house has AC, but we enjoy fresh air and open windows as often as the weather allows. The room has a new ceiling fan and an additional desk fan can be provided.
