Located in the beautiful Redwoods of Mendocino county. This sweet apartment is newly constructed. It has a lovely view of the forest and is only a 5 minute drive to the beach or to access rustic walks in the Jackson State Forest. The space The upstairs apartment has an open floor plan with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. We are a very relaxed, friendly, bilingual family who live in the main house next door. We have lived in the area for years and are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. We have information on all the best eateries, local spots and hangouts and can also direct you to the favorite beach locations as well. Under special circumstances we may be open to a small breed, furry family member accompanying our guests as well. Please request permission and if approved a pet fee of $100 will be added. I prefer no pets on the couch or beds, but happy to provide an extra ‘doggie’ blanket if it is necessary for their comfort. Guest access You may park right in front. The parking area is shared with us, the hosts, but we leave you the main space right in front. The property backs up against Jackson State Forest. It’s pretty rugged and magical. You are welcome to tromp through the woods or have morning coffee, or a cocktail anywhere in there or on the grounds! Other things to note Our apartment has a shoe off policy due to hardwood floors.
