Woodland Coach House-Golden Triangle-Walk to City!

Unique experience in the Golden Triangle! Historic woodland heated Coach House within easy walking distance to Norwich city centre, yet within a protected County Wildlife Area! The rustic 1855 building sits just within a 35 acre Victorian woodland, garden & cemetery. It is a peaceful, leafy idyll offering walks, history, photography & nature. Features four big french door sets, one of which faces magnificent 150 year old trees in the woodland & the old headstones .The other 3 sets face garden. The space PLEASE READ: We are happy to allow guests the chance to experience a stay in our large, rustic, heated, open plan 2 bed semi restored Coach House and inner city location! The property is 150 metres down a drive off residential streets and stands alone on 1/4 of an acre in Norwich's golden triangle! You can take a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to the inner city via the Upper St Giles historic lanes. Walk in the woodland cemetery and garden to explore the trees, bulbs, pond, chapels, and rare headstones and statues. You might spot the deer, rare birds and native mamals. I see and hear plenty of deer, fox, hedgehogs, owls , and have even seen a pine marten in here. Guests will occupy the private L shaped Coach house with their own secluded entrance. This forms a part of the property called South Lodge where the property owner resides nearby, which is in the images to see. There are nice leafy vistas and views from every window/door. There's a sunny patio with seating/dining overlooking glorious old trees, and some outdoor lighting. There are no immediate neighbours to South Lodge (other than wildlife-bring your best camera!), the closest being approximately 100 meters down the lane. Also no residential roads, so it is a very quiet area.There's free parking. The facilities are rustic-not 5 star! but will suit many people looking for a unique stay in this wonderful location. There is a toaster, kettle, water, electric and oil heating and electric blanket. Please keep in mind there is no central heating system. *The Coach House itself has no running water and we have a fresh water urn for the kettle and drinking use. The gorgeous 5 piece bathroom in the images is yours to use totally exclusively and is located a few steps outside. It is totally private and lockable.* Linen, toweling is provided. The concept is open plan studio style with the open bedrooms at either end of the L shaped layout for reasonable privacy. Suit family or friend group. There is a handy shopping complex with Earlham Co- op, cafes & restaurants, charity shops, post office, green grocers, at the end of the drive just 2 mins walk away.We ask that you be gentle with the coach house, considerate in leaving it clean, leave promptly upon checkout times & be fair in your reviews-it is a rustic offering and we are new to this Guest access Private access to the Coach House on the grounds of South Lodge. Other things to note Not suitable for children under 12 yoa due to layout. Unannounced guests and undue noise not permitted.
