Welcome to Maggie's Cottage - an old-fashioned Queenslander with modern comforts set in a perfectly private and peaceful corner of our farm (Mary Valley Yuzu). Ideal for one or two couples but not really suitable for children. While here enjoy the rural views, read, chat, bird-watch, relax around the fire-pit, and generally feel the serenity. Explore local markets, bush trails, and quirky towns like Imbil, Kenilworth and Amamoor. The space We think the best features of Maggie's Cottage are: Spacious verandahs Fully-appointed kitchen Morning sun pouring into the bathroom through the extra large window Watching cockatoos, galahs, rosellas and lorikeets Observing the night sky from around either of the fire pits We don't charge a cleaning fee. Firewood is supplied. Our cottage is eco-friendly with tank water (filtered in the kitchen), solar power and on-site waste treatment (this limits what can be flushed). As you will be sharing our rural property we want you to be aware of possible hazards from normal farm conditions such as uneven ground, barbed wire fences, etc. There are also unfenced dams on the property. Please also note that the cottage yard is not fully fenced. Other things to note Imbil township is a 3 minute drive - enjoy a coffee, pick up essential groceries, have a meal at the pub, or go to the skate park. Scenic Lake Borumba is 15 minutes drive. If you're a market groupie, the famous Eumundi Market and the food and produce market at Yandina (a favourite with foodie locals) are 30 minutes away. Ask us about the smaller markets closer to home. Noosa is a 45 minute drive if you hanker after a day at the beach or a posh lunch.
