Lovely 1 bedroom suite in historical house

Located just outside historic downtown Coxsackie, this newly renovated suite in a 220 year old Greek Revival house is within easy walking distance to tiny downtown Coxsackie and its restaurants and shops. 25 minutes to Hudson, 45 min-1 hour to the Catskill Mountains. It’s an old house, with all attendant creaks and charms. In the warmer months, we strive to create a wildlife-friendly pollinator garden, full of sprawling native plants and pollinator favorites. The space The apartment is located in two large, historic parlors (one is the bedroom and one is the living space), with a bathroom right off the bedroom. There is a propane fireplace in the living room for cozy evenings. There is a small kitchen with sink and two burner induction stovetop, as well as a toaster, microwave and mini fridge. Guest access The town of Coxsackie is easily accessible on foot--the downtown is two short blocks away and the riverfront park three blocks away. We have a few downtown restaurants, also accessible by walking, and two coffee/breakfast shops. Parking is available next to the house or down the hill. Other things to note Please message me with a few details about your stay and your pup (if you have one) when booking. Please read the entire description and the rules before booking. Please make sure all guests and pets are included on your reservation request (if you book for the wrong number of guests you will not receive the proper number of towels etc.) There is a small pet fee that covers extra cleaning. You're welcome to request an early check-in/late check-out, which I will always try to accommodate if it's possible. Requests must be made ahead of the check-out time. Please be gracious if it's not possible. The bathroom has a shower with wraparound curtains—it does not have a bathtub faucet. The shower is in a short bathtub, so if you have any difficulty stepping over a two foot ledge to enter the shower this might not be the place for you. Please refer to the photos for further details. Events or large photoshoots are not permitted in the apartment. If you are interested in a small photoshoot (four people maximum) please message me and I can share further details, rules, and rates. Photo shoots are defined as all posed portraiture of individuals or groups by professional or amateur photographers, whether paid or unpaid.
