Welcome to The Parlour @ Manor Organic Farm, a perfect relaxing self-catering retreat for two (plus we are pet friendly). This beautifully converted milking parlour, offers a quiet private space, that comes with it’s own modern bathroom, open planning kitchen living area and a spacious luxurious bedroom. It also offers a great enclosed garden space. Nestled within our Organic farm, The Parlour provides a unique getaway, surrounded by nature and walks plus great pubs within walking distance! The space The Parlour is located in the centre of Long Whatton, a Leicestershire countryside village. The village boasts two pubs - both with highly rated food as well as our Farm Shop which has it’s own bakery and butchery - perfect for those special holiday meals! Whether you’re after scenic countryside rambles, bustling towns, country estates and garden, theme parks, railways or museums, The Parlour is blessed to have it all nearby. - Accommodation for two adults in a spacious super king double bedroom. There is enough space for a travel cot if you are coming with a little one. - We are pet friendly for up to two dogs. - Stay hassle free for as little or as long as you want, with no minimum night stay and off-road private car parking. - Sleeping: Snuggle down in a comfy, lavish super king bed.. - Kitchen: Organic tea, instant coffee, sugar and a pint of local, organic milk will be waiting in The Parlour for that much needed cuppa on arrival. Made even easier with the instant hot water tap! The open plan, modern kitchen is fully equipped containing an induction hob, oven, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery. Kitchen sink and dishwasher fully equipped. - Bathroom: The modern bathroom is complete with a heated towel-rail, illuminating mirror and large walk in waterfall shower. Hand towel, bath towels, mat, hand soap and toilet paper are all provided. - Tech: The Parlour has its own Wi-Fi and a 40 inch smart TV with entertainment apps. - The Parlour offers pet friendly accommodation for up to two well behaved dogs. There is an enclosed, fenced private garden area for your furry friends to enjoy, plus lots of countryside walks on your door step. As a working, organic farm we ourselves have dogs so ask that when leaving your accommodation and still on the farm your dog is on a lead. The Falcon Pub in the village is dog friendly. -The Parlour’s underfloor heating is generated from solar panels, located around the farmyard. All the bedding and towels provided are not only soft and swish, they are certified Organic and Fairtrade. Guest access There is off-road parking for The Parlour, right next to the entrance. It is private and concrete. There is lots of room - but please let us know if you are bringing more than 2 cars - for example a trailer. Other things to note Staying in The Parlour, you will be lucky to have our organic farm shop with its own butchery and bakery close by. Get in touch to order in advance and have your breakfast, dinner and drinks in the fridge ready for your arrival.
